Amazing for the price.
I purchased this for an 18th birthday and it was amazing for the price. I was nervous as I read a few reviews that were not so great, but was pleasantly surprised. Make sure that when putting it up you have at least another person with you, so that it can be put up evenly without bending any of the rods/poles. We had this up for two days lakeside and it stayed sturdy in the wind so very very happy. We assumed when taking it down we might tear it or break it accidentally, but we managed to pull it apart without any breakages so it is ready for our next event. Absolute bargain... Show more

Avoid this marquee at all costs
I bought this marquee for an outdoor party. Sadly I didn't see the reviews before purchasing as the marquee broke, literally as it was being set up.The velcro straps that tie the walls to the poles broke under any tension. The pull down hooks that keep the roof down also snapped (there's no ability to adjust the length of the straps, making tying down the roof very hit or miss). The pegs are single use due to how fragile they are and bent easily.Overall very low quality and you'll be better off investing a a bit more money into a marquee with higher reviews. The only reason I'm not rating 1 star is because the Bunnings team were very understanding with our refund request.... Dont be scared of broken poles. Good item.
I see all these bad reviews and have to put my two bob in. Bought my first one 11 years ago. If you have a level surface and the patience to put it up you'll be fine. I use mine yearly without the full enclosure (just the top) and made the mistake of leaving it up for a month through weather which destroyed the top. Bought a second one to get a new top (you can't buy separately) and still using original poles and corner pieces. After doing this many times I just put it up by myself in about 30 mins. Once you've built it you won't need instructions next time. I highly recommend but Bunnings needs to stock just the top cover as my 2nd one has deteriorated and I'm going to have to buy another whole kit in a year or two. 11yo poles will still be fine tho!! Don't waste your time and money
Spoke to storeperson who said it would be suitable for normal weather. Problems:#1- thin metal connections break easily, broke in 2 places for me when putting together.#2- instructions on installing are horrible, one page with 3 hard to see pictures#3- the night after I put it together it rained a little, not heavy, and every joint broke holding roof up.#4- went back to Bunnings to ask if I can return and was told this outdoor structure is not suitable for rain at all, only sun. So I asked if I needed to pull it down every time it looks like raining to which the lady replied "yes". It's 6m X 3m, not easy to keep putting up and pulling down. She also said it says this on the box. The box says 'NOT SUITABLE FOR EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS' so apparently this ... MoreSpoke to storeperson who said it would be suitable for normal weather. Please avoid buying.... Show more

Great marquee for the price
I was nervous about this purchase given previous reviews, but timing was tight so I went ahead with it anyway. First purchase - a disaster as it was obviously a return and was missing the instructions (which you definitely need!) and parts. I exchanged it for another - all good.Set up was straightforward - we were gentle on the metal pipes given other comments about them splitting - and we got it up without any hitches. It is lightweight and I would not have been confident in high winds or a heavy downpour (thus 4 stars, not 5) but we had great weather and it served its purpose. We dismantled it, also without issue. Hiring a marquee would have been far more expensive and we now have this for the next event.... Show more

Honest Review for those on the fence
Honest Review, It is flimsy while you're putting it together however once assembled it held great. I made sure to use T-Rex tape on every connection and join. This will break if you are trying to assemble it yourself since the plastic joins or cheap metal posts will snap or tear.I had low expectations based off reviews and price however it held up for the 3 hours I held my babyshower, would recommend this product but since I didn't have enough help taking it down and a post did snap. Expect it to be a single use item and you will be impressed.... Show more

Marquee 3000 x 2550 x 5900mm Party Pavilion
We really liked this Marquee as it's the best deal. Cheap and best. We used it for out daughter's birthday in our compound along with the bouncy castle for kids. We had around 35 people including kids. We did decorate the marquee for cake cutting and sitting arrangement was there too. It rained the whole day but this marquee was like shield for all our guest We were all safe and dry. All of us enjoyed... Show more

Party Pavillion
Marquee 3000 X 2550 X 5900mm - Party Pavillion was very easy to erect. I am a 70-year old woman and did it all by myself. However, would not advise that - Get someone to help. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow.X4 Sets of poles needed heavy duty tape (at the loose-fitting joints) to keep them together. It looked nice and had more than sufficient space to accompany my 9 guests, a long table and quite a few Christmas displays. We had light rain and wind - It was perfectly fine. However, definitely NOT for stronger rain and/or ANY wind whatsoever. The velcro strips (for tying the canvas to the pole structure) are of inferior quality - Most of them broke off during assembly or shortly thereafter. All in all, I got what I paid for and will make some ... Terrible Product
Every now and again you come across a product that just shouldn’t exist, this is that product…Like some people, this tent can’t even exist under the burden of its own weight, let alone any sort of wind or weather at which the first sign of, it will start snapping and splitting from the aluminium foil comparably thick poles making it just as a disposable.Credit where credit is due, the instructions are pretty clear and it’s straight forward to assemble that anyone who can rub two brain cells together should be to put up.Just do yourself a favour, spend the extra $50 and get a pop up version. Will take about 45 minutes less to assemble and save your sanity, added bonus you’ll probably be able to use it again.... Show more

The worst product I have purchased
Put this up and found the assembly instructions reasonable and easy to follow. As the frame started to be put together, the lateral poles began to split....yes, the METAL poles began to split. In fact 8 poles have (so far) split along the line of the pole. I have my 50th tomorrow and this was to be the main shelter. In addition, the covering itselt is tearing away from the velcroe tabs. I have fastned them as per the instructions and yet it is tearing at each of the six velcroe tabs. Moreover, the slant is not enough to allow water top drain and I have had to make drainage holes to prevent water further tearing the cover.Do not try to assemble without a LOT of gaffer tape....
