Great set of headphones, well presented and folds down quite small. The ear pads rest on the ear rather than go over the whole ear but this doesn't really have a huge impact on blocking out outside noise. The controls on the right ear are really good and easier to find than other headphones I've used - the knob sticks out a bit. It does volume up, down, play, pause, skip or rewind track. I love the noises they make when you turn on / connect to Bluetooth / pause etc. - like an electric guitar strum! The battery on these is absolutely incredible, they came somewhat charged and it has lasted weeks already (obviously depends on how much you use them). I don't have a wireless charging pad, but these are compatible if you do. I didn't actually even look at the quick start guide to set it all up as it's all really intuitive but I see you can also use the cable provided to plug in another set of headphones, and that the charging light goes from red to orange to green which is a nice touch. You've also got compatibility with voice assistants, which is really handy. All in all, incredible functionality for a fairly modest price.

These headphones are phenomenal! I got them about a week ago and I have been non-stop using them! The sound is super crisp and the bass roars without being overpowering. The battery life on these headphones is amazing, I haven’t needed to charge them since taking them out of the box. I like how light weight they feel on my head and the soft cushion ear pads feel super comfortable on my ears; i can wear the headphones for many hours and my ears don’t hurt. The only thing I would say is a con is that the headphones don’t come with a pouch or case to protect them. But for $150, these headphones and the quality of them, from the sound to the build quality, are so worth the price!

Bought these with how much I love the Marshall Stanmore speak I bought for my record player. These are sooo comfy, the material is so soft in comparison to beats or Sony headphones. The sound quality is amazing in my opinion, again better than beats and Sony. Most headphones hurt my ears after like a hour but these are just so comfy. The battery life is a huge plus also, 80 hours of battery life is insane. They’re very easy and simple to set up the Bluetooth, and come with a full charge. Everything about these is perfect the look, the feel, the sound just amazing. I was beyond impressed after I got these. I recommend them to everyone I know. I’m honestly surprised these don’t cost more, I’d say they’re better than the Apple AirPods Max and the price comparison is huge.

My ears were hurt'n after a 4 hour flight wearing some Sony OE headphones, so I needed a change. Saw these on sale and the reviews on them were solid and decided to give it a try and man..... These are simply awesome! The sound is clear and crisp, with solid base without being overwhelming. Super lightweight, great battery life, loud enough to be ANC for me, and are not uncomfortable for me to wear long hours. The single control is nice and easy to use. The on and off sound is just drip, just a small detail I really like about these. I didn't even realize that these are wireless charging so that's a bonus for me. Only thing from keeping these perfect for me is, they don't take phone calls, but who cares, that's not why I got them. And lastly, they don't break the ... First, I must say, I love the design of these. The knob, folding for storage or when taking them off, the overall build quality, the small touches. Serious props to the designers! I knew going into buying these that they weren't the best in class on technicals but the competition's design sorely lacking. Music doesn't blow my mind but I do find I "go" to these a lot, and I would prefer more solid highs. Overall, I couldn't find a pair of headphones that checked as many boxes as this pair does. Pros: Bluetooth that can pair and remember to multiple devices, ANC that can be toggled on and off, AUX that works as a fallback even if the battery is dead, the control knob is great, battery life is decent (lasts a week for 2-4 hours/day), USB-C. Did I mention the design? For 40mm drivers they're not gigantic like some headsets are. Cons: AUX mode is "second class" compared to bluetooth: The knob doesn't work like inline controls would on other corded headphones although ANC is available. They're a tad on the heavier side (I wouldn't want to wear these 8 hours a day, 2-4 is fine, although I've gotten used to them). Bluetooth multipoint is annoying at home so that it sometimes wants to connect to my laptop in another room and thus has connection issues even though it appears to be playing through my phone. (I think this is generally a flaw with multipoint not the headphones.) Fix: Turn off that device or repair to the source device.... I would have preferred bluetooth pair settings with 3 devices that I manually have to toggle. Can hear noise when listening while charging.
I have been using my Audio Technica M40x for a few years now. I love it for it's neutral sound profile. However for outdoors or travel, the lows can seem underwhelming due to outside noise which makes you want more punch in the lows to compensate. Also I was getting tired of the cable and started looking out for a good wireless headphones. After a little research research I zeroed in on the Marshall Major 4 for it's size, battery life and promised audio quality. After receiving it I played many of my favorite tracks to compare it with my Audio Technica M40x whose sound I was very familiar with. I must say it is exactly what it promised to be. A portable, stylish, long lasting headphones with good sound quality. However compared to the M40x I felt the mids were recessed, the lows were too powerful and punchy, highs were just right. My favorite tracks didn't sound right. So I had to decrease the lows and increase the mids in the equaliser to fix it. After that it sounds amazing now. Great sound clarity, just the right amount of bass which can be increased to compensate for the outside noise, lively highs, no cable, amazing battery life, decent noise isolation. I am loving it! I will recommend this to anyone who is on the lookout for a portable high quality pair of headphones without active noise cancellation.
Let me just start by saying that I was very happy with my in-ear headphones... until I was given these! No longer do I need to avoid sharp movements for fear of losing an airpod, or constantly readjust to achieve comfort. These on-ear wireless headphones are supremely comfortable, lightweight and beautifully designed. The sound is rich and balanced as you would expect from such an iconic headphone brand. They feature noise reduction rather than noise cancellation, which I personally prefer, so I can still hear the doorbell, cars etc. I often use headphones whilst in the house, listening to music or podcasts as I do my chores and have noticed I can leave my phone in the kitchen, walk upstairs and never lose connection - these seem to have better range than other ... I found the set up to be a doddle, just a matter of connecting to my phone / computer's bluetooth upon first use, then it is stored. There is a small gold control button (possibly a bit too small?) to adjust volume, track etc which can also be used to control phone calls. The quality of sound / microphone for calls is top notch. One of the most impressive features is the battery life. I believe they say it is 80 hours from a single charge / 15 hours for a 15 minute charge. I genuinely forgot I needed to charge them because the 'out of the box' charge lasted so long! There is a USB charger in the box as well as an audio cable - but beware, I almost missed them because they are tucked into the bottom of the box. Great for everyday use and will be top of my packing list for my next holiday (whenever that may be)!
The Major IV headphones are a great, lightweight set of on ear headphones that represent good value for money. Build quality is good; the head band has some light padding and sit comfortably. The ear pad adjustment is exposed as opposed to some heavier weight sets where they slide into the headband. This doesn't make them feel any less robust and the adjustment is firm. This lightweight frame allows them to be folded up into an ok size that would easily slip into a bag. The speakers fold in but don't rotate so they don't quite go flat. A pouch or bag would have been nice if like to keep your headphones scuff free; there's enough padding and "leather" fabric to pick up nicks and scratches from keys and sharpish objects in your bag. A pouch or bag would have been nice if like to keep your headphones scuff free; there's enough padding and "leather" fabric to pick up nicks and scratches from keys and sharpish objects in your bag. The relatively small cushions sit on the ear and, while they don't create the vacuum effect you feel with larger cushions that completely envelope the ear, you still get quite a good seal. The selector button is easy to locate and has a positive click to it so you know when you have pressed it. This operates volume, play/pause, skip, and built in phone controls. Connecting to Bluetooth is straightforward, as you would expect, and phone call quality is good. I haven't made any calls outside yet so not sure if wind noise is an issue for the other caller. I was taken aback by the quality of the sound. For a small speaker, they produce a rounded, rich sound and there's no distortion at the volume I've been listening at. I've tried a few different genres - all sound great. In summary, these feel like they're punching above their weight and, for the money, you're getting a lot of sound for your pound!
I have been so pleased with these headphones. They look great and are true to the iconic Marshall design. The attention to detail and the quality of the finish is exceptional, with some really nice touches throughout. Super simple to set-up, they paired with my Android phone and Windows Laptop seamlessly. I have used these for a mixture of work and pleasure, the headphones are comfortable to wear for long periods on video conferences and the sound quality for calls and music is very good. The bass is quite prominent but not overpowering and balances well in general. They do not have a noise cancelling function, but for me this is not required. Overall, an excellent product from an iconic brand.
The Marshall Monitor II with ANC is a great headphone. I will be honest... In my search for the perfect over-ear for me, I've returned these to the store only to purchase another pair less than a year later. I believe my first issue with these was the level of sound isolation, which is key in getting the most out of the ANC, as well as the overall volume. I wear glasses, and a lot of baseball caps. These two things alone never help when it comes to sound isolation and ANC of over the ear style cans. But, I've seen other headphones do well in this area so the fact that it was a tad difficult to get the most out of the ANC concerned me a little. The next issue was the overall volume. They just don't get crazy loud. Nothing more nothing less to it. Why did I eventually ... MoreThe Marshall Monitor II with ANC is a great headphone. I will be honest... I own many Marshall products and for what they are, they are the best for me. I love the durability. The metal that attaches the headband to the drivers is insanely durable. They feel heavy. The accents and attention to detail are very premium. They're extremely low profile, which allows me to move more freely while wearing them. The microphone is excellent. Call quality is amazing. Battery life is phenomenal... I may pick up a pair of Apple Pro's, but until I really need that volume and high level of ANC, these will suit my every day needs.
