Marshall Black Stanmore III Bluetooth Speaker

From arrival, this was a very good customer experience. The packaging is attractive and protects the speaker, and the enclosed manual is simple but adequate to get the unit up and running. In fact, the controls are intuitive enough that I didn't really need a manual at all. Build quality has held up after a couple of weeks of use - everything feels solid. The buttons and switches have a nice chunky feel and resistance to them. Sound quality and volume are both excellent. This was tested thoroughly by two young children and an iPhone, and it could absolutely pump out some danceable tunes! This was tested thoroughly by two young children and an iPhone, and it could absolutely pump out some danceable tunes! Both children were able to use the controls easily, and the visual feedback (for, say, volume and tone) are helpful and intuitive. I did notice that my initial manual Bluetooth pairing, followed by that done through using the Marshall app, created two paired devices with different names. This wasn't an issue in practice. I would have really liked this unit to have batteries, or to be a little more portable, so it could follow me around the house. I'd recommend this to someone looking for a beefy Bluetooth speaker, who doesn't need/want direct Wi-Fi connectivity.

This speakers combines the great classic Marshall's design and the latest technology. Sound is nice and clear. Power is great. You can use Bluetooth to connect the speaker to your phone. The process is super easy (using the Marshalls Bluetooth app available in the App Store). It took me ten seconds to do it. Or you can connect to your old cassette or stereo using a 3.5 m audio cable.

Excellent sound quality, easy to use, good compact size. Looks very slick and smart. Only criticism is it does not have wireless option like other current competitors
