I have eyed the D-45 for years but was not sure whether to stick with the standard or go for the new Modern Deluxe. As soon as I tried this I was really impressed - The Standard is great but the Modern had something more....Great bass response, light , fantastic neck and all-round just better. Super pricey but in my experience you gets what you pay for.....there is nothing compares to this. I've had some great acoustics but this really is the standout. Some don't like the D-45 bling (I obvs do)- but it is more than just shiny bits....the wood and finish are as good as can be and the playability and tone to die for. If you want something really special (and can afford it) this is defo worth the investment in my book.
