Didn't play the previous version so I don't have anything to compare this one to, but I can tell that I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I received it with the PS5 and spent hours and hours playing it. I loved swinging through NYC and seeing the beautiful visuals of this game. I feel like the controls were fairly easy to get used to, and combat is a ton of fun. The story is short and there isn't a whole lot of replay value, but I still think the game is worth the money. If you can, play this on a 4k TV. The visuals are awesome. I'm an avid gamer and pretty critical of games I play. I read enjoyed this one though. Definitely recommend for anyone of all ages.

The game feels well polished and I didn't run into any bugs that I can remember. The only thing I wish they could have added, and maybe this is more on Sony's end, I wish you could customize the strength of the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the Dualsense controller. When they advertised the game they often talked about how you could "feel the charge up Miles's venom power in the controller" but I never once noticed the haptics while playing.Overall I really enjoyed the game. It's fun and I liked the story. It manages to make itself stand out when compared to the Spider-Man PS4. If you were a fan of that game then I would definitely recommend this to you. I can't wait to see what they can do with a sequel. 5 out of 5 stars.

Amazing and fun game. Sadly, it's a little short.
1 December 2022

I loved the first Spider-Man game when I played it on my PS4. Seeing that Miles was going to be a launch title for PS5 got me excited. I was looking forward to seeing what improvements they made with the new hardware. If you have the right TV and HDMI capabilities to make use of it, definitely run this game in performance mode with ray tracing. It's amazing. Felt more like a DLC than a full game, but it was still a ton of fun and made great use of the new hardware. Definitely worth a playthrough.

Ever since I was young, I’ve played Nintendo games. Mario, Link, and Tom Nook are some super recognizable characters to me. But, I recently got a PS5, and Miles Morales with it. This was one of my first non-Nintendo games, and I love it. The storyline is amazing, and I won’t spoil it, because it’s such a rich story, and it seems real sometimes. Miles, Uncle Aaron, and Ganke feel like real people, even though they’re fictional characters. The decisions Miles makes in the game feel real. He has to make big decisions, and I really like what they did with his reactions. Moving on to gameplay, it’s very confusing, but you get used to it. Best Superhero Game Out There
9 July 2022

This is the best Superhero game I've ever played. It's awesome. The graphics are great, the story is great, swinging through New York is awesome, load times are almost instant and never had the game crash. I got the ultimate launch edition so I could play the remastered version of the first game. I can't compare the ps4 version to the ps5 remaster since I never played the original but the ps5 remaster ran very well and was definitely worth the extra $20. Spider Man Miles Morales pretty much takes everything good the first game does and adds some new mechanics which work very well. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone.

Fun, Interesting Story Line
27 August 2022

My son loves everything Spiderman, so when the Marvel Spiderman Miles Morales PS5 game came out he had to have it. This game was filled with action packed fun. Spiderman goes on vacation and it is up to you to watch over the city. As you do your missions and fight crime, you get to level up. This game has great graphics and lots to entertain you. The story line is interesting and fun, he just wished that the game lasted longer than it did for him to solve everything. Overall, it was a great game that he really enjoyed playing.

The Miles Morales game is fine. If you've played 2018 Spider-man, its about 50% more of the same. Some of the cooler gadgets from the 2018 game aren't here, replaced by "venom powers", which would be fine, its just not a gameplay element i am into. Loved the focus focus on stealth, but some of the gadgets that made stealth fun in the first game were missing here. Basically, if you enjoyed the 2018 game, you will like this fine. However, just know going in that the story isn't nearly as compelling, there isnt enough character development, and a high-school aged genius supervillain is pretty unbelievable, even for a game about a person with superhero spider powers.Personally, I am very glad this version came with a download of the 2018 game, because after I was done ... MoreThe Miles Morales game is fine. I justified purchase as Miles Morales is a shorter game than original Spider-man game. So if you think Miles Morales is worth $50 than $20 for remastered Spider-Man with all DLC and you have a deal. I used $30 of Bestbuy rewards so only paid $40 so not a bad deal. Remastered Spider-man also has a cross-save option. So Since I had a gamesave of Spider-man on PS4 it carried over into PS5 version. This process took awhile but worth it. Since I earned a platinum trophy on PS4, after save data transfer I received a platinum trophy for remastered Spider-man immediately after loading save file.Insomniac Games Studios are wizards when it comes to open world games. Makers of Spider-Man Series, Ratchet and Clank series, Resistance Series, Spyro Series, Sunset Overdrive and now Marvel's Wolverine.Miles-Morales improved and built off of the original Spider-man game. They trimmed the fat off most of the annoying and tedious side quest missions of the first game. The game looks great and is a showcase for your new PS5. Miles's new electricity powers and improved combo system makes Miles more enjoyable to play than OG Spider-man. Story is well written, with appropriate culture mixed in the game. Loved the new storyline. New York in winter looks great with snow particle effects looking amazing and adding to realism of game graphics. Super fast loading times, almost none existent loading. Worth the purchase.Overall great purchase
