Great key safe for people who want to control who has access or not. I.e. a builder with a construction key used by multiple contractors. You can see exactly who has taken key out and whether they have put the key back in.

Once you set the code it is easy to use the box, but it is a bit cumbersome to have to use software to change the code (unlike simple non-electric models). The price is a bit hefty if you can simply buy the old school combo boxes for $20 or less. Having the temp code is a big plus in case you want to allow a one time access or delete codes after workers come through a home for example. As someone who uses a lot of boxes, which are sometimes difficult to track, this box has a feature that shows on a map where it was last installed, so if you have several boxes out there, you can look to see where you last placed it so you don't forget boxes.

Safe and secure, this Bluetooth 9.7 cu. in. Zinc Portable Lock Box with Backup Keypad Entry, Black and Silver allows me to be in control of access to my house or backyard storage unit when I cannot be there in person. I have used it multiple times both places. It can be used with an app on your smart phone or with temporary codes as I have been doing. It easily holds assorted size keys, and let you be in control of access to areas accessible by key. /i would think it would be great for a realtor or vacation renter. I love it! I was able to give my daughter access to my outside shed while I was at work when she needed to borrow my lawn mower.
The product is very good, and I am glad to purchase it. But the instructions are terrible, and especially the instructions to remove the shackle from the keyboard instead of from a smart phone via bluetooth. Here is the thing, I followed the instructions to remove the shackled 20 times and it did not seem to work. Each attempt the shackle would not budge. What I found out is that when you follow the instructions, you have to apply a ton of muscle when pulling the shackle out of the lock box. The whole time I thought it was broken, but it is not....so when you attempt to remove the shackle, pull it out HARD! I hope I saved you a ton of grief.

This lock is a lot more substantial than it may look. It is very heavy and you could easily kill someone if you hit them with it. Good thing the outside is rubber coated so it will not scratch anything. It is pretty easy to set up and really is designed to be used by your phone. You can use a manual code if you want. To remove the shackle from the door or wherever you have it placed required the phone app. This prevents people from taking the lock if they have access to the key. Large buttons that light up make it easy to use even in the dark.

After an hour, no verification code, so I resubmitted the request. The next day I still had not received the verification code, so I re-submitted the request again. 2 days later I got a verification, then another the next day, then another one 2 days later. Temporary keys can be sent to others by multiple means including simple text (SMS); these are simple key codes that have an expiration time provided in the message; the person does not need a smart phone to use it. You can also provide reoccurring keys that will only be valid at certain days or times. If you need more complex scheduling or unlimited access to others you can add "guests" electronically that will need a Bluetooth device. They can even be granted access to give out codes.
