I use this device for app development and as my daily driver. Absolutely amazing battery life. I get about 3 days of usage with 6 hours of screen on time per day. At the end of the third day the battery is on about 20%.Definitely recommend the Pro Max purely for the battery life. The only downside is the size of the phone makes it a 2-handed phone. Meaning you will struggle to type with one hand and you have to use two hands to tap items at the top of the phone (even with Reachability enabled). I prefer the size of the 16 Pro but the battery life on the 16 Pro Max makes it worth going for the bigger phone.The camera control button is fiddly and not really useful. I purchased the iPhone 16 Pro Max from Noon yesterday, and unfortunately, the product is defective. The phone’s software is not working properly; it’s stuck on a single screen and completely unresponsive. I tried restarting it and troubleshooting, but nothing worked.For a premium product like this, I expected much better quality control. It’s extremely frustrating to receive a high-end device that doesn’t function as advertised. I’m hoping for a quick resolution, either through an exchange or a full refund.Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend purchasing this device.

Worth the money! I love how quick the chip is in this one (upgraded from an iPhone 12). I REALLY love the camera button! I was a little concerned on accidentally activating the camera button in daily use but with a case on it, you’ll be completely fine (especially if you’re hesitant like I was) if you fully press on the button it will activate it, lightly skimming your finger across it just resting your finger on the button won’t open the camera.Phone does not overheat for me and you can turn off features that you don’t like / want. Photos app has changed but you can get used to it pretty quickly or you can search a tutorial to change it. Haven’t got the AI system as it’s not coming until Dec 2024 but I already like mine as is :)
I am an Apple fan- nine of us in the family have iPhones. There are incremental improvements in the hardware since the iPhone15 The 5x optical zoom camera is an example as is the new camera switch. IOS 18 also has new features. This phone, however, has been sold on as yet not entirely fulfilled promise- that of 'Apple Intelligence' ie private, secure in phone artificial intelligence which requires the computing power of the new chip to drive it ( also works on iPhone 15). I've started to erase unwanted people from photos. I've started to use the writing tools eg summarise, rewrite and find them useful but that is barely the start, according to Apple. There will be be many more improvements in the months to come.

I recommend that sellers clearly disclose when a device is the Japanese version, and I advise buyers to be cautious and verify this detail before making a purchase.The phone itself and its quality are very good.
Very happy with my new iPhone 16Pro Max purchase, I update my iPhones regularly purely for updated camera features, especially love the 5x optical zoom, such a game changer for me and also love the new camera side button, makes it easier (without a case) to zoom and take the shot! Glad I can use USB-C now to match my iPad and Mac (long overdue). Phone is larger than my previous iPhone 14Pro Max but you really can’t tell the difference and some of my old cases actually fit (minus the camera button), Titanium case looks nice but wish I had ordered the desert colour instead of natural (I always went for gold previously). Love that I can personalise the action button so now I use it for my flash, found the old way was annoying! So I bought this as a replacement for an IPhone 14 pro max 256. The quality is typical Iphone. Beautiful to hold with the right amount of weight to justify the quality. I only bought it as my existing Iphone's battery capacity was too low for me to want to keep it, coupled with a need for higher capacity storage - there was nothing wrong with the phone itself. So far it has proved entirely reliable, and the camera produces excellent quality photos and video. If you pair the phone with a decent set of headphones (the B&O H95 are excellent), the sound quality is, IMO very, very good. Is it a major step up from the 14 or 15? Probably not - however, that really depends on your own requirements.
