Best portable in ear phones for audiophiles

Hi All,I was considering the Bose (they are pretty awesome, but expensive), and then some research on the net made me try this one out.I also would like to wear my
headphones under a helmet. I am a rider. Most of the good ones are bulky.I value sound clarity more than the volume mass (loudness)These are superb in terms of clarity,
and fits inside your ear so snug. The music fills the space between your ears. I can hear the music playing in my head. Not only can I hear when the drummer hits the symbal,
but can also hear where he hits it.I am loving the music hearing / movie watching experience on these.Totally recommend this for anyone who loves his audio. Thanks

Am not an audiophile. So this review does not have any details about the quality of the sound. I can attest that the quality is better than most other earphones i have used in
the past. The rest of this review is only from a comfort & ease-of-use perspective. These earphones are very uncomfortable to put on and to wear for long periods of time. So
many people needed help that there is a video explaining how to put them on - this is bad design. I don't enjoy the process of putting them on or removing them. After about
10-15 minutes, my ears start to ache - because of the bulk.

These are the oddest pair of headphones I've ever purchased. They have an incredibly clumsy fit, where a semi-flexible piece of plastic bends up and over your ears. The
controller lays on the back of your neck out of reach, and the cable itself is incredibly short and barely reaches your phone, amplifier or computer's headphone jack. To put it
another way: the fit of these headphones is atrocious and I cannot believe Shure attached their name to the Aonic 215s.As for the sound it's a solid 1-star. Everything sounds
distant, tinny as if the musician is singing inside someone's small office, and there is absolutely no midrange. All warmth is stripped from the music with oppressi... Show more

It’s an experience
9 June 2022
I am not an audiophile or a connoisseur of sound. These are amazing earphones for daily use with crystal clear audio experience. I am huge rock listener and this works perfectly for the need. The volume goes as high as you’re in a concert, puts you in trance like state almost. Just go for it, you won’t regret it. Actually it’s way better than anything I have had so far. Before buying these, I read that it’s tedious to put them on but in my opinion it’s not tedious at all. It’s also comfortable to wear for a longer time but the real challenge is changing the ear sleeves, I couldn’t.... Show more

Operating the multifunction button
18 February 2024
My biggest complaint about the AONIC 215 adapters is the multifunction button: it’s too squishy for my liking. I wish it had more of a tactile click, but that’s an issue of personal preference and not something that many people will care about. Operating the multifunction button is great, but there aren’t any other playback controls here.... Show more

Shure Aonic 215
22 April 2024
Solid product from Shure. Not as silky and lush as the more expensive models(I use the Shure SE530 series, which were stepped on by my seatmate on a flight to Phoenix). For the return flight I purchased these. With a little patience and work with the EQ you can bring out a solid midrange to complement the bass. On the flight home from Phoenix, I enjoyed the musicality and the sound isolation. Better sound quality than any premium bluetooth phones I have used.... Show more

Shure AONIC 215 Wired Sound Isolating Earphones with Remote + Mic
25 May 2024
The sound quality and the microphone for calls is excellent. I've tried them several times now and can't quite get a good fit in my ear. I will have to try to adjust the earbud using a different supplied earpiece adjustment. Delivery, shipping, and packaging are all professional and exceptional. Priced a little high for a wired earbud.... Show more

Went Out on a Limb.... Worth It!!!
10 March 2024
My last set of in-ear phones ran away from home (again). I decided to move away from $19.00 phones for once in my life and (Eeeek) bought these high flyers. Why didn't I do this years ago? I am in a whole new audio space now, hearing things I never heard before. Thick quality never break cables, intelligent speaker design, super sound. You can teach an old dog new tricks. I hope these don't run away from home..... never going back to inexpensive phones.... Show more

Would 100% recommend - great audio and noise cancelling
1 February 2024
I am delighted with my Shure Aonic 215 earphones. I spent a long time looking for good quality wired earphones - quite hard to find these days as there's so much focus on wireless. They fit really well in your ears meaning there's great noise cancellation, and the audio quality is fantastic - to be expected from Shure. The other great thing is that the cable comes with a microphone so you can also take phone calls. My cable was also replaced at no cost under the two year warranty - very impressed with Shure quality and great customer service. Very happy customer. Thank you.... Show more
