A convenient and easy to prepare meal base. Just add mince meat, capsicum, onion, tomato paste and cooked rice. It's even more convenient if you use microwave rice sachets, too. Full of flavour. A bit on the spicy side but still very tasty. I served it to my family with corn chips on the side of their bowl, a bit like nachos, and a dollop of sour cream. Perfect spicy flavour for scooping onto the corn chips. A fantastic one pan meal that's delicious! You can really taste the herbs and spices that elevate the Cajun meal. Would also be good in homemade gozleme or tacos.

The MasterFoods Cajun Mince was a delicious meal starter kit that was so easy to prepare for my family! I simply added lean beef capsicum, onion, tomato paste and rice as suggested on the packet. It was ready in 30 minutes and served our entire family! We loved the high protein content of 34 g and only 14% fat. Because of how easy it was to prepare, we would certainly recommend it to other busy families.

Great collab

Love the new collaboration between Masterfoods and My muscle chef. I was given this product in exchange for my honest opinion. First impressions, i was very excited to be able to test this range, the packaging is great and inviting and so easy to use. Love the break down of nutrients on the package. The flavor is quite nice however for myself personally, although it says medium heat, i found it to be a bit on the spicier side. Overall though, i would definitely be purchasing from this range again.

Spicy and filling

The Masterfoods x MYMC Cajun Mince Recipe Base was quick to prepare with most of the cooking time hands off.The ingredients list was a little difficult to understand as ‘tomato paste’ was listed but not how much. Luckily, I used a small jar and it seemed to be right… besides that, the recipe was easy to follow. The meal was really easy to cook and serve overall. Greek yoghurt was a must in our household for this one as it was definitely on the spicy side!The meal overall took around 45 mins to make and was definitely filling. I also like the lighter and heavier options on the packaging to suit different dietary needs.

The master foods Cajun mince sauce is a flavour filled sauce with paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic. The flavours bubble up in your mouth like your tasting street food in an ethnic country. The hint of spice for those that like food with chilli hits perfectly.The portion is enough for a family of four and is great because you can add addition to it of beans or vegetables or corn with your flavour of chicken or mince or beef. This sauce is an all rounder and can be used in different ways.

Easy enough to use but I feel they could have just added tomato paste into this recipe base so that I did not need to add it myself? Anyway it is pretty tasty and I appreciate that it is not too salty like so many products are! Salt is the easiest thing to add if more is needed and everyone already has salt at home.This product would be handy for someone who cannot cook well but if you can make the sauce yourself I would recommend that because it is not that complex and would save on the plastic pollution.
