Small batches are made per production and each bottle is numbered by hand. The whiskey series is named after the Canadian border guard William "Bat" Masterson, one of the most famous personalities from the old American Wild West. He was not only a buffalo hunter, card player, US Marshal and local Sheriff, but after his retirement in New York he also became a highly respected sports journalist and newspaper man. It is also the fascination surrounding the well-known symbiosis of saloons, card games and whiskey from the days of gunslingers in the Wild West that led Sebastiani to choose this name.
