I bought this blue 1979 Chevy Nova diecast in memory of my late Step-Dad. He had one when I was a child. :) It seems to be good quality and standard matchbox size. I have not decided if I want to take it out of the box or now. I like how it had a picture of the car on the box too. :)

I was sad to see what is bought when it arrived. I thought I was getting a high quality die cast metal realistic car model. I knew it'd be small but I thought it'd be well done. It's not looks cheap with the paint not on the cleanly and even the little metal parts seem to be very cheap. Don't get it. I've gotten die cast metal hot wheels at Walmart for $0.94 that seem to be better quality even though I payed over 20x's the price for this...so sad.

As far as 442s go, this Hurst scheme nicely adds to the early muscle car era of my collection. Particularly appreciated is the gold rims and complementary goldish tan interior and body stripes on white. One of GMs greatest and appreciated in the Hurst theme. Looks very tough. Slightly disappointed with the rear spoiler, but it's important to remember that this is a toy intended for child play. We're glad to add it to the American thumper line up.

Calvin, my 16 month old grandson loved the Matchbox city works 5-pack, especially the Mail Truck. I'm a retired Postal Worker and was overjoyed with one of his first words being Mailman. I looked all over at stores, but couldn't find a mail truck. Of course ebay had one, so I ordered it. It was worth every penny. He spends hours playing with his matchbox city works vehicles.
This car was in the opening chase scene of Mad Max, pulling the camper trailer that was destroyed when an MFP Pursuit car went through it... I am making a diorama of that chase scene and have added an oil drum and tires to the bed of the Ranchero
Grew up playing with Matchbox - great memories. Then bought them for my Sons. Now I collect military die-cast and BMW Die-cast. Matchbox provides nice lower end price wise additions to my collection(s). I also think they make solid gifts to the kids of friends and family.
Matchbox products have always proven to be durable. They have high quality paint endurance and generally fun to play with. They make great gifts for the grandchildren. Specifically I collect the fire trucks and enjoy the hobby very much.
What a nicely done Matchbox truck! The details are pretty good, and the authentic side graphics are perfect. Also neat to have Matchbox in a box again! The '95 Nissan looks right at home in a diorama.
