So I enjoyed this product, but it didn’t blow me away. It smells amazing and is very thick which is sometimes a good thing, but ultimately it was just a bit too heavy for my hair. Huge pro: this product is paraben, silicone, and sulfate free. This is a must for me because I notice immediately as soon as I use a product with any of the those 3 in them, I feel like my hair has a lasting “residue” while also getting oily faster. The product is also vegan and made with natural ingredients as well as pH balanced. Overall, it did the job but was in no way memorable. It is a good product for the price, and I will say to me it felt like one container did contain a lot of product so it is good value. It just didn’t blow me away.

I've been using the shampoo, conditioner, and curl smoothie for the last little while and, my word, my curls have never felt so soft! I'm very much a wash and go kind of girl. I cannot be bothered putting much effort into my hair so I was happy to try a product that was so easy peasy. I washed, conditioned, worked the curl smoothie (it's like a cream) through my damp curls, let it dry, and voila! Super soft, lovely smelling, healthy looking curls. The only *teeny* downside is my curls aren't as bouncy as they could be with other products but I think what this product is doing is making my curls the best they are naturally. Does that make sense? But seriously, I love how soft they are!

This is my first influenster box and I’m so excited that I received one!! Nonetheless I am not going to be biased. When I used the shampoo it made my hair feel pretty rough and somewhat tangly after I washed the soap through. It wasn’t a great feeling tbh. I used the conditioner, leaving it on for a few minutes which did help my hair feel a lot more softer. Honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of the smell from the shampoo or conditioner. I used the curling cream which is AMAZING. The smell reminds me of the white Ferrero Rocher (which is my absolute favvv:)) I let my hair air dry and honestly it feels really soft I’m quite content!! I don’t know if the Olaplex helped with that or not I think overall I’d give this set a 4/5 stars. One thing I’d like to mention is this product is THICK!!! I used one tablespoon amount and it was too thick for my hair, so I used my wet brush to evenly distribute the product. I have a hair condition so that is why my hair is a bit thin. Hair type : wavy 2c\2b UPDATE: so as I suspected as the coconut product line is a bit too THICK and greasy for my hair type. It made my hair very very greasy and oily. I may try to use a smaller amount and see what happens. This product is more suitable for thick hair types (or Afro hair i would assume as well). It does , however, define my curls. I think I will continue using this. I may apply it in my hair whilst in the shower. Extra wet soaked hair would do well with this product. I will leave a final update when I try this again in the future. UPDATE: just used the shampoo and conditioner. Way too heavy for my hair. Rinsed it off and applied L’Oréal conditioner and shampoo. Made hair less heavy. But anyways , if you’re going to use these two condition and shampoo, u need this curl cream to give it that slip. Cus the conditioner doesn’t have any slip! I used a finger tip amount and I think it isn’t heavy at all. I applied while I was in the shower. It is quite nice. It does leave curls. Everyone’s hair will react differently. This can be used on thinner hair, but use a fingertip amount … Out of all three products I have received, this one is the best and reminds me of the brand sheamoisture. This formula, however, is much thicker … so use extremely sparingly for amazing , non weighed hair with lovely curls that look like I only took a shower . Seriously .

I received the Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Deep Conditioner for free from @Influenster and @mauimoisture for an honest review. The has a medium creamy consistency with a lovely tropical coconut scent. The deep conditioner has good slip, which made detangling easy. If you have thick very curly hair, you may need to use generous amount of product. It provided decent hydration but could be better for a deep conditioner. Not as hydrating as I expected. It is reasonably priced so I would say it's budget friendly. I also liked that the deep conditioner is actually silicon free. #MauiStrengthLength #voxbox #complimentary

I really wanted to LOVE THIS but something was off for me. I used this for a full month before reviewing. The smell is the best thing about this smoothie. When first applied it feels like a leave in conditioner and it smells great. I usually air dry my curls and after putting mouse or oil they will curl naturally on their own into “romantic style†curls. HOWEVER with this smoothie the hair becomes limp heavy wavy and the product is essentially very waxy rather than moisturizing after drying. I have no curls after using it just a frizzy mess after using this and even by twisting the smoothie into each strand as per the instructions to create curls it does not facilitate curls… the hair needs to be fully washed by the next day. Horrible breakouts on my face and back after using this and then they stopped once I stopped using it / stopped sleeping on my hair after putting this smoothie in. You get a lot of product which is nice but it’s almost causing me more hassle by weighting down my hair and causing the need to wash more frequently and I have to avoid my hair touching my body while using it due to the thick clogging waxiness of it. Smells great though. Like Piña colada’s.

I received the Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil mask free in exchange for my review. I was initially sceptical about this mask because you don’t wash it out. I learned that you do not need a lot of this mask or your hair will look greasy/wet. I have hair that reaches my bust and use a nickel size amount. This seems to work well for me. The product has a thick creamy texture and a nice subtle coconut smell. I am able to spread it evenly through my hair and then I brush it making sure not to put any near my roots. My hair feels soft and is shiny. I notice less frizzy in my curls after using this mask. I would recommend this to anyone that had dry to damaged hair. It is very moisturizing and really helps tame frizz and flyaways.

The Maui hair products are vegan and silicone free. I love these products. Tried the products this year and I am not disappointed. The creamy curl smoothie is effused with papaya butter and plumeria extract. It helps detangle, defrizz and define my curls. My hair is soft, manageable, smooth, detangled, frizz-free, and deeply hydrated. Love that the Maui products are made with Aloe Vera Juice, Coconut Water, Coconut Oil, Papaya Fruit Extract and Plumeria Extract. They are vegan friendly & free from silicones, SLS, synthetic dyes and mineral oils. So glad I tried this product line.
