I bought these for the nostalgia factor. I could not pass up the walk down memory lane when I used these tapes all the time. I have not used these yet, but will once I have a recorder.

These Maxell tapes have been one of two brands sold in stores anymore, the other being Walmart's ONN brand. I have been making tapes off of YouTube to play at night before I go to bed, and these Maxell tapes are pretty much trouble-free. I've seen these for sale at some Walgreen stores and they are readily available on the internet. I'm not sure if these are newly-made or a surplus of new-old stock, but they record satisfactorily for my needs.

It may be the 21st century, but I STILL have a huge vintage music collection with over 5,000 titles on audiocassettes, and my music collection is still growing! These basic Maxell tapes are the only large quantity of unused tapes that can easily be found and for good prices. Yes, I'm stuck in the 29th century. Forever!
Office Depot offered these for a very good price so I bought 60 of them to stock up. The Maxell UR-90 Type I cassettes are the last quality cassettes still in production - and they might not be for much longer. Yes, there are two companies making "new" tapes, RTM in Europe and NAC in the U.S. but they aren't any better than these. I was glad to get them for recording vinyl albums. And yes, they sound great in a good late model cassette deck, especially if you use Dolby C or S and have HX Pro.
The maxell Fuji and jvc cassette tape lot I ordered and received is perfect. Every single tape works with absolutely no defects whatsoever. Since I returned to listening to audio cassettes and recording on them four years ago I cant stop purchasing cassettes of my favourite artists and groups as well as blank audio tapes like this awesome lot of Maxell Fuji and JVC cassettes. For me they are way more convenient than vinyl records. I still use CDs as well and I say cassettes and CDs go great together. I plan to order more blank cassettes for recording again very soon.
MAXELL LIVES!!! I have that poster 5ft x 5ft. in the background. Came into a really good deck, and all of a sudden, it's 1985 again and I'm listening to subtle sound passages. Will buy many more as needed.
Bought 2 of these packs for my old-school husband who still makes mixed tapes for his cassette Walkman. He got super excited when he opened the box and saw these; his reaction delighted my heart! So glad this vendor carries this large pack at a great price!
For younger readers who might not recognize this product, these are how us folks with gray hair made mixtapes for each other. But oh, the memories! I still remember the excitement of listening to a fresh tape for the first time.
I love the cassette tapes you sent me. I could never find any cassette tapes at the Walmart place where I stay at. So, I decided to order them online. They have a good sound for my boombox cassette recorder. I can tape all the music I love to listen to. Thank you for your persistent services.
