We've had this seat for about 3 years now and we've put the fabric back cover back on once if not twice a week since we bought it. It's such a shame as its a lovely seat, we now need a second one but can't be bothered to go through this hassle again. It's hard enough getting the kids in the car at the best of times but having to keep putting the seat back together just drives us bonkers.

I bought 4 of these seats back in December 2021,I have been nothing but disappointed in the quality. All 4 have failed in exactly the same place where the wings on the side attach to the main seat, one of them has actually snapped off completely. The plastic is so thin and flimsy the wings permanently ping themselves into the wrong position.I have contacted maxi cosi and they want £90 per seat to fix them. Which I am not prepared to spend knowing the awful quality of the seats. The lights on the sides never really worked or are so hard to press a child would never be able to do it, great in theory but in reality absolutely useless. The seat covers constantly fall off, I can fit them back on nicely and within seconds of the children sitting in them they have ... MoreI bought 4 of these seats back in December 2021,I have been nothing but disappointed in the quality. All 4 have failed in exactly the same place where the wings on the side attach to the main seat, one of them has actually snapped off completely. We have it for 4 years and its not good , fabric don’t stretch so after you resize carsear suddenly fabric around shoulders will start coming off so every single time you have to put it back on which is very annoying and very uncomfortable for long trips ( after 3-4hrs kids start complain that its to hard. And they are right. There is nothing soft to sit on

Shopped around a lot, went with this Maxi-Cosi as we had been very happy with the infant seat. Our daughter loves the upgrade to a more grown up seat. The price and safety assurance was why I picked it. So easy to install, service and delivery were also brilliant. Would recommend!
Notwithstanding the good fabric quality, it constantly falls off. We've being using Maxi-Cosi car seats since our girls' first days. We've been absolutely content about Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus with base, it was of high quality from all points of view as well as comfortable for our babies. Next, we've moved to Maxi-Cosi 2wayPearl iSize with base which our younger daughter still uses. It is also comfortable and of high quality.Basing on our experience, we've chosen Maxi-Cosi Kore Pro iSize for our older daughter when it was tine to move to the next category, and... it was our worst choice ever. I have to arrange fabric back to the seat each time we put her in. We bought this for our 4-year-old recently and have been really pleased with it. Great things about the seat:- Light feature is a really useful feature...it’s super easy to belt her in, even when dark (light in car not great but the light on the seat is well positioned).- Easy to install using isofix in car. Also so much lighter than the previous seats we’ve had.- Colours...the fire service once told me that they wished all car seats were not black as it’s harder to see in accidents and they look for kids first. That has stuck with me (most car interiors have black/dark seats) and therefore it was a must-have for us.- She loves her big girl seat! We’ve had for a few weeks so can’t comment on longevity but so far we’re impressed.
I wish that guide on Maxi Cosi was more realistic. We wanted a carseat to fit three seats in the back. Every shop told us that any seatbelt fitted carseat can be used at middle seat.Well not according to ‘if fits my car’ maxi cosi check.None of them supports middle seat. We ended up with Argos Harmony half price seat as Its legally accepted to put in all three seats in the back.
I have trusted the Maxi Cosi brand for the last 5 years with both my boys and have loved each car seat I have purchased, until now. I am so disappointed with theMaxi-Cosi Kore Pro i-Size Children's Car Seat as the fabric constantly falls off the chair leaving my child sat against hard plastic for nearly every journey we make. I would not recommend this product and am seriously put off the brand with such a poor quality product.
We've always used maxi-cosi seats from the day our two children (4 and 2) were born, starting with the Pebble Pro (and 2-way fix bases) before moving onto the Pearl Pro.As we're a multi-car household, we actually have four 2-way bases and 2 each of the Pebble Pro and Pearl pro. We've hence always been loyal maxicosi customers, impressed by the build quality and safety record of your seats. When our 4 year old started to outgrow his Pearl pro we naturally returned to the range and purchased, in January 2020, a Kore Pro iSize in Cognac. From day one we were slightly disappointed; it felt flimsy compared to our prior seats and, shortly after purchase, we found the back upper seat cover would regularly slip off the one shoulder 'bolster'.The problem has become ... MoreWe've always used maxi-cosi seats from the day our two children (4 and 2) were born, starting with the Pebble Pro (and 2-way fix bases) before moving onto the Pearl Pro.As we're a multi-car household, we actually have four 2-way bases and 2 each of the Pebble Pro and Pearl pro. We've hence always been loyal maxicosi customers, impressed by the build quality and safety record of your seats. When our 4 year old started to outgrow his Pearl pro we naturally returned to the range and purchased, in January 2020, a Kore Pro iSize in Cognac. From day one we were slightly disappointed; it felt flimsy compared to our prior seats and, shortly after purchase, we found the back upper seat cover would regularly slip off the one shoulder 'bolster'.The problem has become increasingly worse to the point that the seat is now virtually unusable; we'd assumed we were just not fitting the cover back on correctly but I finally took the seat out of the car and noticed that the left shoulder bolster is significantly out of alignment with the right shoulder bolster (see picture). I have circled the top of the seat and you can see these are not symmetrical, with the left bolster 'falling away' from the seat. There's no apparent damage or any sign of looseness.Having seen others are having exactly the same issue, it appears Maxi-Cosi's usual standards have slipped badly with this seat and even though we've had it over 12 months, it was accepted back from the reseller for a refund. If you look on the John Lewis website in the UK, you will see an increasing number of people now reporting this issue and leaving identical negative reviews. It would appear that the sides are just not robust enough and when the child climbs in and puts his weight on the seat, the bolster starts to become loose. This is a significant design issue that is starting to impact a high number of purchasers of this seat and MaxiCosi should do the decent thing and inform any resellers to issue a full refund for those encountering this problem.I would strongly, strongly advise those who are thinking of buying this seat to carefully look at the reviews online of those who have had it more than a few weeks and to look at other options.
When my child grew up, I extended the back part of the seat that I bought 2 years ago. this caused a problem. The cover keeps coming off. This is because when the back is in the down position, the wings at the bottom prevented the back from opening and the sheath did not come off because it was not stretched. However, when you extend the back part, when it comes to the position that the side supports cannot support, the back side parts are opened. for this reason, the stretched sheath comes out from the edges. I think it's a design flaw
