I was so excited to receive this smart baby monitor to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had not purchased any kind of baby monitor before the See Pro 360 mainly because I was overwhelmed with all the choices on the market. I don't really have an interest in trying out the cry assist, I maybe down the line I will try it and see how accurate it is.Overall, we enjoyed this Maxi Cosi baby monitor as it had a few surprises that we found helpful. We didn't have to download an app (or use wifi) to be able to use this camera which is nice to have the option. The controller/remote is intuitive to use. Again, the displays for temperature and humidity were so useful. Lastly, it was nice that we could move the camera display from the remote since we have a swingable bassinet that is not always in the same place.As for the con's, the only item is that it is difficult to mount as it is designed to be placed on a high shelf.

There were a lot of things I liked about the baby monitor such as the ability to use it with or without WiFi. Setting the monitor up without WiFi was really easy to do as the camera was synced to the parent device already and was available to use in just a couple of minutes. And it has amazingly clear video feed which makes it easy to see baby and its environment.

I really loved this monitor initially: set up was easy with the video instructions, we had zero problems connecting with our internet and phone apps, and the parent display was much appreciated since our other monitor didn't come with one. The packaging, monitor itself, and video/sound quality on our phones is really great. We knew that our phones wouldn't connect to it, but the parent display works regardless and could have been enough if it weren't for the monitor light constantly switching from red to blue and continuously blinking. It was so bright and obnoxious that we had to turn it off at night or face it away during naps. I hope this and the display get improved because the CryAssist is definitely worth having as first time parents or for other caregivers in your home. It's a fantastic upgrade from the monitor I used for the first few months with my baby until we received this.The best part about this monitor is that you can use it with and without Wifi. Using with Wifi is so convenient because we can see our baby on our phones when we want to take a quick peek, but also use the Parent Display overnight. However, traveling with a Wifi monitor can be a nightmare, so it was so convenient to use this monitor without Wifi on a recent trip - no more trying to connect to hotel Wifi!It was incredibly easy to set up on our home network - and the one time we traveled to visit family and connected to their wifi. ... However, we found that we preferred to just have the sound turned on the Parent Display rather than rely on phone notifications for crying.Overall, I have loved this monitor! I immediately appreciated the fact that it came with a camera that's easy to install on a wall because I'm not very tool savvy. The quality of the camera is excellent. I also enjoyed the fact that it comes with a monitor screen so you don't have to set it up to connect to your device if you don't want to. Some parents care deeply about the safety of their cameras being accessed by others and by using the monitor, the video is only viewable through the monitor screen supplied to you. I immediately appreciated the fact that it came with a camera that's easy to install on a wall because I'm not very tool savvy. The quality of the camera is excellent. I also enjoyed the fact that it comes with a monitor screen so you don't have to set it up to connect to your device if you don't want to. Some parents care deeply about the safety of their cameras being accessed by others and by using the monitor, the video is only viewable through the monitor screen supplied to you. The camera plays lullabies or soft noises for the baby which is so convenient. I also like that the camera quality is very clear and you are notified if your baby is crying or moving. Also this thing moves 360 degrees which is so awesome.Regarding the screen that it comes with, it's a little bit tricky to set up because it's not touchscreen so you're doing a lot of clicking with the arrows, but it wasn't too difficult. Changing the settings can be a little frustrating because it's not extremely intuitive but I would say that the pros highly outweigh the cons with this monitor. Having the room temp/humidity level on the screen is so nice because I'm always worried about the temp of the room my baby is sleeping in! The monitor also has a great battery life and you can go to other rooms with it and it doesn't lose connectivity. Having peace of mind being able to watch my baby rest and check on him without having to go into the room where he was sleeping is a game changer. I would highly recommend this baby monitor to anybody looking for something to give them peace of mind!

I am so impressed that a computer can actually figure this out.I have found this to be a super user-friendly, high quality monitor that I would recommend to any pregnant friends. It was interesting to see the analysis of the cries and especially the description of what the cries sound like for each emotion/need that the baby might have. it could be helpful as a first time parent in the early, early days of figuring out your baby.We also traveled with the device internationally, and since it doesn't require WiFi, it was very easy to set it up abroad, and take advantage of the features as well. We used the built in white noise, which was helpful and enabled me not to have to bring an additional device.I appreciate such a versatile but powerful and high quality device, especially when it comes to monitoring and responding to my baby
