Good bag but wish it was a bit bigger.

First off I will state that it looks smaller then compared to the picture on the website, and for that it gets 4 stars. Otherwise it is a decent bag! I purchased mine as an emergency get out of dodge bag, and right now it is holding 2 medkits worth of supply, a flashlight, tarp, hand axe, knife, rope, and another utility knife. I plan on adding 3-4 dry meal bags to it if I can. There are plenty of MOLLE for various attachments so I will also see if I can find something to connect a rifle to with so e ammo pouches. I am still experimenting with tbis bag to see if it can fully fit my needs. I still have room for my 10 inch tablet and cell phone in the front. All in all it is a decent bag for the price just wish it was bigger but if tbe MOLLE features to this bag can ... MoreFirst off I will state that it looks smaller then compared to the picture on the website, and for that it gets 4 stars. Great for hospital stays.

I bought this product as I’m recovering from a stroke and needed a bag to pack my essential items such as bathing and few pairs of socks and underwear and pants and shirts. Lots of storage in such a small bag. I love it. I definitely needed it and I’m extremely satisfied. Thank you

Happy with it!

Perfect for Hikes and "over-nighter's". It took me a while to get myself to buy this bag. I should have gotten it sooner. I gave it a four star rating because there wasn't a dedicated compartment for the hydration bladder, which I think would be a great addition to the bag. The bottle holders on the sides are great, they can securely fit 1L plastic bottles snug. You don't have to worry about them falling. The interior of the bag is very spacious. The molle webbing isn't overkill that you can still use it in an urban setting. Overall it's a great bag.

Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon II
24 May 2018

Extremely well made and good value for the money if you take your time shopping for one. It should last until I can't walk anywhere unless a bear hunts through it for a munchy. Not sure how I feel about the permanently attached mesh bottle pockets on the sides yet. Molle attachment points down the sides might be more versatile depending on what you want to carry. But the pygmy is a nice size for an day's walk in the woods, and everyone stuffs a pack a little differently.

Maxpedition excellent value for the money

I have about a dozen maxpedition items from packs to pouches to sneak holsters. Every single one of them has flawless stitching and tough as rawhide material. This pack is my EDC pack and it should service me for a long time. You can pay 25-30 dollars for a pack just like this one. Ive had them, stitches fail, lighter weight nylon rips or the zippers give out. With maxpedition I know Im covered, if anything goes wrong with it I can contact the company, try doing that with a Chinese pack. I would make a suggestion to whom ever purchases one of these great packs. Get a stick of beeswax zipper lube. Run it over the teeth of the zippers to work them in. Even though they are nylon they have a tendency to be stiff in the beginning. Outstanding Pack

I can't say enough good things about this backpack. It's extremely well made and has tons of room to carry everything i need. Love the pocket for a 100L water bladder with provisions for running the hose out of the pack. I can't say enough good things about the attention to detail that is evident in every inch of this pack. I like the wolf gray color and it's very comfortable to wear when it's full. I carry it for work and it holds a 15" MacBook Pro along with everything else I need. On the weekends it turns into a workhorse for guns and ammo for the shooting range. The pack expands and contracts as needed with adjustable straps everywhere. It's rugged, looks great and supremely versatile. You can add pouches, etc to the molle system if you want. You will love ... MoreI can't say enough good things about this backpack. Sturdy and Flexible
2 February 2017

I really like its construction; very sturdy and strong. I am sure, even with minimum care, it will last for a long time. It is flexible due to the compression straps. It is comfortable to carry. I like the handle and the molle webbing. The only thing which I don't like about it is that it does not have a bottle holder. Perfect for overnighters who carry edc's, tools and gadgets. Still capable as two day pack. As 3 days pack, it will surely be full and you need to place some of your pouches outside of the bag using tac tie attachment.

Very durable
17 November 2016

This bag is perfect for camping, going on a vacation/outing and even everyday carry bag going to school or work. Highly recommended for bagpack seekers. Watch falcon 2 reviews on youtube and you will know lots of pros about this bag. Thank you tactical asia for selling this bag on your website. Maxpedition store is hard to find in Manila.

Your Everyday Urban Prepper Backpack!

The perfect all around backpack. I love everything about the Maxpedition Falcon II. It expands to your needs and contracts neatly when not full. It is cleverly designed, modular and literally built to last. I’m a gear addict myself and the Falcon II always exceeds my expectations. Got mine for since 2012 and it hasn’t aged a bit. I’ve gone hiking with it. As well as multi day vacations here and overseas. It can also be a camera and laptop bag whenever I need it for a project. Brilliant EDC bag! MO

very nice product
5 September 2022

I recently purchased the Maxpedition Falcon II and have been very pleased indeed. I have been using a Maxpedition Condor II backpack for a long time (seven years) and it is intact, so I decided to buy the Falcon II. The first impression one has is "nothing comes in here", but don't be fooled, one can perfectly accommodate everything you need, it has a huge load capacity and most importantly it is extremely "compact" and comfortable to carry. As Maxpedition has accustomed us, the materials are of the highest quality, the Molle system, the seams, the closures, in short, everything. You may pay a little more than other brands, but it is worth every dollar because they are truly unbreakable. Totally recommended.
