Whilst dealing with Myer is always a good experience. The product was dreadful and having purchased these plates previously I was just wishing to increase the numbers. Within the 1 box the plates were different in colour, size and shape.

Really like this platter. It has only slightly sloping sides so it is very versatile. Outstanding quality.The "Celeste" colour looks spectacular in pictures, but is rather underwhelming in reality (a collection of random specks on the surface); the underside is black. I also bought one in "Lemon", and I am much happier, the colour is bright and vibrant; the underside is dark brown.
Quality of this product has gone downhill in a big way since last purchased 10 years ago.Significant variation in both diameter and thickness. Rims varied from around 2mm to 4mm thick from one plate to another. A couple of the plates had significant twist such that they do not sit flat on the table. Also noticeable variation of diameter of plates between each other.
We purchased three sets for a large Christmas Day lunch. The idea was to add to our existing collection so we wouldn’t have odd plates. Disappointingly four of the plates are either chipped, have irregular glazing or are a completely different shape. It’s now too late to return and replace ready for Christmas day. Very disappointing.

Buying a basic dinner set from an established brand really pays off - I bought some of these loose plates to replace chipped and broken ones from a set bought nearly 20 years ago! Great design that never goes out of style, and will fit well with any highlight pieces you use.
The White Basics Rim dinner plates I bought through Myer on-line are a perfect size at 27.5cm as they fit perfectly in my dishwasher and look good as new every time. They were ordered and delivered very quickly and packaged really well so nothing was chipped or broken. I bought three sets each of the White Basics dinner plates along with the entree plates and soup/cereal bowls. I am delighted with my purchase and would recommend both the product and Myer for their great service.
