Purchased as an addition to my dinner set. The classic diamond pattern is subtle but elegant. I receive many compliments on this dinnerware. A nice product for everyday use but also smart enough for guests. The versatile design will suit any decor.

White Basics Diamonds Dinner Plate 27cm

These plates look lovely, the pattern has come out very clear and consistent. The colour is a bright, pale cream, it does not err towards grey tones. One of the plates came with a flaw in the clay - a tiny black mark. Considering they are porcelain, the plates are "chunkier" then I was expecting.The plates are oddly tall (a stack of 8 plates is as tall as my previous stack of 12), and a bit heavy. In this respect, quite different to the un-patterned Maxwell & Williams White Basics range.
