With SilkShield technology, it has ideal puncture protection over the entire tyre, including the sidewalls. Tubeless Ready (TR)Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure for better traction, rolling resistance is lower than with tubing, and where there is no tubing, the risk of puncture is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres because the bead is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. Thus the tubeless mounting is successful with all standard dimension rims from the first inflation and with little liquid.
