This lipstick has been advertised as being universally flattering for all skin tones, and boy they weren't exaggerating with that claim. I tried out #379 "Fuchsia For Me" and #385 "Ruby For Me" which are a pink and a red. I was really impressed with "Fuchsia For Me". When I read the name I was expecting one of those typically harsh neon pinks from a Barbie makeup set, but it was actually a really sophisticated, mid toned (like not too bright or too dark) cool based, true pink. It looks like a colour you'd find in classic editorial photos shoots. It's a shade that can easily worn for any occasion, from work to a wedding or just hanging out. The colour itself will not only compliment every skin tone, but work really well with bright colours in clothing, makeup and hair. "Ruby To Me" is your classic 1950's Hollywood starlet red. It's a beautiful cool toned red that is literally in the perfect shade. \nThe pigment is rich in both colours with a medium coverage that is buildable. They were both in a creamy satin finish that felt very comfortable to wear. Although, being really creamy they don't wear too well. I had to reapply after eating and drinking (and talking for a while), but I find blotting my lips after applying helps it set and stay a little longer. As with most red colours, it does stain the skin after wearing it, but a decent cleanser or makeup remover will get rid of it. \n... Show more

I really enjoy Maybelline products. I prefer satin lipsticks like this one because they feel smooth on my lips. I also like how it looks smooth as opposed to dry. This lipstick is not super long lasting but I also did not assume it was since it doesn’t claim to to be and because it has a satin finish. I also like how the lipstick wears evenly on my lips. I like this color because I don’t have anything like it in my collection. I provided a picture of the lipstick swatched on the back of my hand.... Show more

I was very excited to try the Maybelline New York Colour Sensational Made For All Lipstick. I received Mauve for Me and Fuchsia for Me and was immediately drawn to the Fuchsia as it was a bright and fun pink red, however I decided to try the Mauve first as it was a more subtle dusty pink. Application is so creamy and smooth it just glides on, there is a fragrance that reminds me of a sweet dessert. I don't mind it personally but you can definitely smell it. It is a great lipstick for winter as it moisturises the lips quite well. You can get quite full coverage in one application but it also layers well. I was surprisingly in love with the Mauve shade as it was perfect for the office and any after work events. I got to wear the Fuchsia to a restaurant and wine tasting event and it was a great splash of colour for these bigger events (esp. if you want to stand out a bit). The colours are complementing to my skin tone and I think Maybelline has done well. \nIt does transfer easily if you eat/drink or make out but seems to last well if you are just just wearing it in the office reapplication is easy and I just go to the bathroom after lunch to touch it up. It does not bleed but a lip linear combo would lock it in. Overall very happy with this new addition to my lip collection.\n... Show more

I’ve always loved the amazing and vast ranges of formulas that Maybelline carry. These lipsticks do not disappoint. They are creamy, pigmented, and they last a substantial amount of time on the lips. The shade “Mauve for me” is my favourite type of nude – a very wearable pinky brown. With my medium-tan skin this shade definitely has the “my lips, but better” vibe to them. I love that Maybelline is going after a universal shade range, it’s going to make lipstick browsing easier for all of us.\n\nI find that if you blot the lipstick after application there is not a real need to use lip liner underneath, though lip liners are always a great safety net. This is definitely travel friendly and an easy on the go lipstick to throw on whenever you need or want it. I don’t ... I don’t find the smell of the lipstick off putting in anyway, if anything it reminds me of chocolate (or I could just be out of it).\n\nPackaging wise it has a clean exterior with the coloured lid matching the actual product. I do prefer this style so that I don’t have to keep flicking the product upside down to see the shade name or open the product completely. I do appreciate this small detail. Though $17.95 is pricey for my affordable tastes, I would definitely pick up a few on a sale.\n\nYou can’t go wrong with this formula!\n... Show more

great
I love these lipstick line from Maybelline. it hasn't a matt finish, rather a bit juicy or you could say fresh. the coverage is good, and although it's not waterproof, it lasts quite long time. no specific scent that I can say. I have another color from this line which I always receive compliments whenever I wear it.... Show more

Maybelline Lipstick
This lipstick is easy to apply and fragrance-free. Color looks great with my complexion and eye and hair color. I like that it has no scent. It also feels good on my lips--not sticky or glossy or heavy. It lasts longer than most lipsticks that I have tried. It covers well with on application. Also works well after applying lip balm.... Not especially long wearing, but the colour is perfect
This mauvy-dark-pink is like a very dark nude, it's quite brownish and natural looking on my light-to-medium complexion and can definitely be worn both day and night. It seems moisturizing, or at least doesn't cause dryness, and lasts as long at you could expect a "regular" (non-long lasting) lipstick to. This is my third purchase after finishing the first two!... Perfect lipstick
Great scent to this lipstick. I use it on special occaisons, it's obvious of great quality. The size is very compact and easy to keep in the purse. I feel like this would lok great on a woman age 30-40. The package was ok but nothing to write home about. I've already noticed a benefit to the looks I get at parties while wearing this lipstick. I feel like it really improves the composition of my face. This has a great amount of coverage hiding my birthmarks. The color is mauve and really brings out my brown eyes. The texture is slick and slimey. My only concern about it is that I will use it up so fast as it is fantastic.... Show more

Suits my tan skin
I often have issues finding the right lipstick. I read about this colour online and decided to try it out. Even though it is a light nude shade, it works very well with my tan skin. The coverage is good and lasts for long. The lipstick faintly smells of coco which is a plus point. I have purchased this product twice so far and am happy with the consistent quality.... Show more
