Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - Light

I was told that if I wanted to stop paying the ridiculous price of the Nars Radiant concealer, then I should look no further than this product! I mean, it looks like the Nars concealer? Maybe it preforms just the same. Well no. No it does not. It’s not an awful concealer by any means. It lightly conceals and highlights. It has a creamy consistency which makes blending it out a dream. The coverage is not that amazing. I find if you have under eye bags you need something much more heavy duty. I bought shade 10 Fair on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for $8.99CDN. So it’s not like your throwing away a massive amount of coin. The shade works well for my day-glow white skin. It looks yellow based in the photo but it actually applies more pink. It looks yellow based in the photo but it actually applies more pink. Some people say this works as a good eyeshadow primer too, but definitely not for my oily lids. I’ll continue to use this product until it’s empty, but I am still on the fence about repurchasing.

This is my second time buying this concealer and as you can see in the attached images, it is nearing its end! I love love love wearing this concealer because it covers up my dark spots and acne scars pretty well and also give a brightening effect on my under eye! One thing tho, I usually don't wear a primer or a foundation or a colour corrector so it sometimes turns grey but I think that is easily fixable by some colour correcting! It blends out beautifully and gives a matte finish. Here, i have attached a few image of how the product looks and also two clips of how well it blends. Great concealer for daily wear, it's coverage is medium, I am using it since 2017. In summers my skin is combination and in winters it usually become dry but this concealer works well in both conditions, I have purchased it from Nykaa, and I am using this daily basis, i would recommend this for daily use. It is easy to blend and comes under budget, it stays for 6 -8 hours without touchups and with touchups it stays for a little long period. I have tried other concealer too in the same price range but I liked this most. This is not so high coverage concealer. I was a little bit confused about my shade, as i had ordered it from Nykaa for trial, but I got my shade easily within 1st attempt only. This is by now my favorite concealer! Ever since I tried this over 5 years ago I haven't stopped repurchasing. I definetly want to try the other maybeline concelear with applicator but I just keep grabbing this one. I wear very light makeup on my face and skin foundation a lot and use this concealer on my redness, under eye, to cover blemishes and almost as a higlighter and too it with powder. This does last me all day long even on days i'm to lazy to put on a primer. The coverage is amazing! And it leaves my skin looking smooth. I sometimes do get some irritation under my eyes but that area of my skin is very sensitive. I was on the hunt for a good concealer and I saw this in the store and decided to try it out. The Fit Me formula is amazing. I hope they keep making it. The Deep color is not that deep, though. If you have darker skin and are thinking of purchasing this, I HIGHLY recommend going to your local drugstore to swatch this if they have a tester, looking at swatches online, and watching swatching videos. I usually use foundation first and then concealer on top of that but with this product I don't need to do that. It's so lightweight that it literally feels like nothing on my skin but when I put foundation overtop of it, it blends really well together! Creamy, light weight concealer

I've been using this concealer for several years in shades 20 and 25 and, more recently, 30 too. Lovely formula which provides light to medium coverage and feels fairly light weight on skin. It's great on its own for days you don't fancy wearing a full face of foundation, and is blendable. I really like that the colours have a slightly yellowish undertone, perfect for Asian skin.The reason for knocking a star off is due to packaging. The black ink used on surface of the concealer and just below the lid gradually starts melting, and rubbing off onto hands. It's extremely annoying, so to avoid black ink on my hands whilst using, I have to remove the printed brand name and and black strip around top with nail polish remover in advance. I have this concealer in the shade 'Vanilla' which is available in the US but not available in Australia, but the ingredients list is identical for both countries. Vanilla is a light yellow shade suitable for light, warm olive skin tones. It is a liquid concealer with a doe-foot sponge applicator. The formula includes glycerin and Vit E, and is fragrance-free.It has a creamy consistency that spreads and blends easily. Coverage is about medium for a concealer. I am able to dot this under my eye and blend to reduce the look of dark circles. It is slightly hydrating, has a natural finish and doesn't look cakey. However, it does settle into my fine lines a little after a few hours. Maybelline Fit Me is sometimes compared to Nars Radiant Creamy and I disagree. There's nothing Radiant or creamy about the Nars. On the contrary, it's thick, heavy and drying. Fit Me should be called Radiant Creamy though, because is truly is creamy, hydrating, radiant and blends like a dream. It's not too thick or too thin and doesn't emphasize dryness. I'm a 36 y/o woman with minimal fine lines and smooth under eyes. Fit Me looks beautiful and has a glycerin-y, film-forming quality I love. The Nars is just a thick, cakey mess and makes my under eyes look weathered in ways they are not naturally without makeup.All this to say, the drugstore beats out the high end by a long shot in this instance. Medium works all over when I have a bit of a tan. For the best neutral tone under my eyes, Light and Sand mixed is great.It is still the best drugstore concealer. I think they've raised the price, but it's still onbthe cheaper side for drugstore these days. If you like a hydrating concealer that doesn't require much setting, get it while it's still under 10 bucks.
