Maybelline Fit Me Dewy & Smooth Foundation - 115 Ivory

I am in love with this product. I love the matte+poreless liquid foundation as well, and I got this in the same shade (classic ivory). I should note, it is a tiny bit lighter in color than the liquid (which for me was fine). I would say it’s light/medium coverage, but buildable. I was looking for a powder foundation bc summer in my hometown is sweltering, and I have oily skin. This product is incredible! I absolutely love it. I wish like anything that it was around when I was a teen. It’s very easy to use, so very beginner friendly, but also extremely effective. I use it with some concealer and it looks great. I had pretty much given up on foundation and wore tinted moisturizer due to my uneven texture, large pores, etc. They just made it all look worse. But this foundation is amazing. Especially with a damp sponge or beauty blender. Its like second skin. But healthier looking! Worth a try especially if you have texture, dullness and fine lines. I actually bought 2 different colors to add definition to my face and with the type of formula they blend beautifully. It leaves a bit of a dewy finish but not shiney which is an amazing plus when you want a healthy look but don't want to seem sweaty. And it stays put! So I don't have a picture because a friend of mine introduced me to a different product that I use daily. However before when I was working full time and needed to get ready in the morning this was what I used. I loved that it blended nicely so it didn't look like i had a lot of make up. It took some time to get use to the product and how to use it correctly. If your like me more is always better. Only truth is more is never better haha. I like that i was able to wear it all day and it didn't just rub off. I would go nights with out washing my face and it never caused me to break out. Not recommending you do that everyone's skin type is different. To apply the Maybelline Fit Me foundation, you only need to put a little on your hand and I don't like that the packaging does not have a "pump" or applicator to press. But it seems to me that in the new versions of the United States and Europe it already comes with a "pump" applicator. The consistency of Maybelline Fit me is not as liquid as I thought, I don't know why I kept the idea that it was super liquid, but it is a little more creamy. Maybelline Fit Me line has been around for quite some time now. I have owned the Dewy version and the Matte version of this foundation. They are both pretty good foundations. Especially for the price point! The coverage of this foundation is medium to full coverage as it layers very well without causing noticeable or patchy areas. You could even do a light wear coverage if you wanted to do so for that more natural look. If you do want a natural look, the Dewy version is perfect! Wear time is excellent. I always wear a setting powder and setting spray as well with it as I would any liquid foundation. No oxidation seems to really happen over time, which is always a plus. I really liked the fact that it wasn't cakey. It was very smooth to put on ans not sticky. Even if you put on a thin layer it covered you up very well and there was no acne after usage. I used to use it for family events and formal outings to cover up my blackheads and scars. I would absolutely recommend it but make sure the color is perfect because in the sun it can change. I would definitely have wanted to know how it was affected in the sun because the first time I tried it, it was too orangey for me. I had to try a couple times to figure perfect shade belfe finding the right one. I really wish there were a more fine pigmentation for every skin color but this was the best I could do. I love to use this foundation in winter when my skin is really dry.it's one of the rare foundations that looks good on my dry skin, feels moisturizing and doesn't cling to dry patches.after they discontinued Bobby Brown Moisture Rich, this was the best option I could find to replace my beloved wintertime foundation. I use a damp sponge to blend it which gives me light to medium coverage and a gorgeous luminous finish.I have it in shade 120-classic ivory which is much darker than the pictures here and I'd call it a light-medium shade with warm undertone. I believe the biggest Con is that this foundation doesn't work on hot and humid days, not a good choice for oily skin either. Even though it's not perfect and I never reach for it in summer time again, I love to use it on colder days and nights and whenever my skin is on the dry side of the track, specially when I don't need my foundation to last more than a few hours
