I love this highlight. It makes me my cheekbones glow so nicely. It has a nice trichome shine of light pink, lavender, and silver. I almost always use it to highlight my brow bone on my eyelid even if I use a different highlight on my cheekbones and nose. Definitely recommend. It's fair priced for the product quality. My only bone to pick is the compact has broken apart a little, but I am also not the best at storing my makeup in a organized way so it could be from my own lack of respect that makeup compacts aren't indestructible, not to mention I am clumsy af. But 10 outta 10 for the product itself. Lasts all day with setting spray as well.

This is a cool highlighter. It's definitely not your everyday subtle champagne highlight. It's not technically holographic either, but it gorgeous. This is very shimmery and metallic, and it has some bigger glitter in it too. These do have more color pigment in them, so they do show up on your skin almost exactly like how they look in the pan. It's definitely more of a crazy highlight, so I don't use it on an everyday basis. It works better for Halloween, festivals, or any occasion like that. I do however, use these as eyeshadow, and they look great. They're very reflective, shiny, and glimmery, and look stunning on the eyes. These do have a kind of dry and powdery texture, so they can have some fallout, if you're not careful. They're easier to work with if you use ... MoreThis is a cool highlighter. I wanted to like this, I really did. I tried to make it work, but it just wouldn't. Setting aside the fact that it isn't holo, this formula is chunky. I mean it is chunky on the finger, chunky on the brush, and chunky on the sponge. It is difficult to blend out, even if I use a light hand or a more firm press. This is unlike any highlighter I am used to. I usually like a metallic or duochrome finish, and this is pure glitter, with only silver, purple, pink, and some blue reflect. Holographic should be a complete shift of the rainbow spectrum, not only a few shades of it. Fallout is everywhere, and I am tempted to reach for a glitter primer with it. I am not comfortable recommending it to anyone as a highlighter. Maybe a lip or eye topper, if it had less fallout, ... MoreI wanted to like this, I really did. I can't see myself using it again past this test or recommending it to anyone. The rose gold one is so good, I was seriously disappointed with the holographic one.

I received this highlighter free from Influenster in return for complete honest review.Master Holographic Prismatic Highlighter is a pale white base with silver to lavender sparkle. It had a glittery, metallic finish with a noticeable texture from the amount of sparkle–there wasn’t a strong base powder, just lots of glittery bits and pieces. It had some shine but it had more of a sparkle that I could see in person. It pressed and patted against the skin, it was fairly pigmented, but as soon as I started to diffuse and blend out the edges, it sheered out quite a bit. It worked best applied over another product, as it seemed to need a more contrasting base to really shine (pun intended, I suppose). The powder felt soft, loose without being too powdery, and it ... The powder felt soft, loose without being too powdery, and it applied fairly evenly. On me, there was a fair amount of glitter that had fallen off or traveled during the six hours it lasted for. It’s a fun product to play with if you love glitter and don’t mind the pitfalls of it, and the adherence could be improved by patting it on over damp foundation, using it with a dampened brush, or patting over a cream base.
For whatever reason, I am just not a big fan of this. For someone who likes glittery highlighters, this just doesn't look right. It's difficult for me to describe but I am not a fan of the formula. It almost looks like crafty glitter on the skin and it's kind of messy. Doesn't really stay well.
About the 050 Opal color: This is an iridescent, sparkly highlighter so if you don't like sparkles/glitter in your highlight, don't get it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if you like natural highlighters but I personally do like it, even on bare skin. It is very beautiful and unique--I have nothing like it! I gasped when I applied it. The sparkles are pink, purple, silver, and blue from what I can tell. It has a faint opalescent base color to it, so you can use it as a topper too. I hope this is never discontinued because it reminds of the $44 Glitter Drops in Lunar (blue) that I was pining over! I also used this on the eyes and it looked so pretty and shimmery. The consistency is super buttery, the smoothest of the Master highlighter series; it almost seems to ... I think this highlighter would work perfectly for music festivals, concerts, or even for nights out. The shimmer it gives is reflective and mesmerizing. Thanks, Maybelline! Your highlighters are amazing.
I bought this highlighter in shade 100, and I am absolutely in love with it!! This is a glittery highlighter but that's what gives it the prismatic effect!! I'm not sure where people are saying that the glitter is chunky and has fall out because the one I have the glitter is very fine and it has never fallen out on my clothes or anywhere on my face that I didn't put it!! I love this on my cheek bones and cupids bow!! I also really love taking this and dabbing it on my lips over my liquid lipsticks!! It creates the most beautiful effect you will ever see for a lip look by taking your matte lipstick to a metallic and giving it the most unique prismatic color you have ever seen!! I can't tell you how many compliments I get from people when I wear this and how many ask ... MoreI bought this highlighter in shade 100, and I am absolutely in love with it!! This highlighter is amazing. It is one of my all time favourite highlighters. It leaves a glassy wet finish when BUFFED into the skin. I use a dense synthetic eyeshadow or small highlighter brush, not a fan brush. Spritzing your brush AFTER you have the product on the brush stops the glitter from spreading down your cheeks. This is a glitter highlighter so if you don’t like glitter you would likely prefer the molten gold shade instead. Sometimes this can develop “hardpan like” spots, but this is something that commonly happens to these super soft formulas and I would say that it is more firmly pressed than actual hardpan. I just scrap a small amount of the firmly pressed powder part and use that, as it seems to stay in place even better and because it’s not real ... MoreThis highlighter is amazing. Now I am just watching for a sale so I can buy my backups because I don’t ever want to not have this highlighter and fear they will discontinue making it. If you want a high end formula highlighter, that is glossy and wet, so your face looks like GLASS, at a drugstore price, THIS IS IT!
Just received this today and it definitely doesn’t disappoint in every way! The Maybelline Facestudio Master Holographic Prismatic Highlighter Makeup in Purple is gorgeous. I can’t wait to use this one for sure!! The color will blend seamlessly with your blush and contour. I’m excited to try this one out and see how it looks with my Fall color palettes. There’s not one thing I personally don’t Love about this product! As far as the quality and ease of ordering and fast shipping it was phenomenal and super fast!! The package was delivered in excellent condition and I would absolutely recommend this seller to anyone!!!
I love this product!! I wanted a purple-ish effect on my blush. It is very shimmery, close to glittery, but not quite. This highlighter is easy to apply if you start small. If you go heavy handed it could almost look like you rubbed lavender lipstick on your cheek. The powder does break easily, just by dropping it on the counter. Handle it with caution, if you will be traveling with it) I love it so much I don't care I have to deal with all the little bits). You can blend it more or less, depending on how you want it to look.
