McCain Sliced Beans Sliced 500g

Hubby prefers sliced beans rather than whole beans... he thinks they definitely cook up more tender and thinks they’re more palatable.

I quite like the sliced beans. It would have been better if they were cut well, as shown in the picture on the package. The beans in the packet were of varying sizes which means I need to spend some time to pick the longer beans and cut them to smaller sizes. Other than that I like them better than the general cut beans that one finds in the supermarket.

These are fine. I wouldn't rave about them but they are probably one of the better brands of beans.

Sometimes stringy and end bits left in the mix. But otherwise happy with product.

Mccain Sliced Beans are are must with Shepherds pie, much better than the cut beans

Used to eat baby beans all the time and then they got too large in the packet. So I now use sliced beans, they are better than the cut beans.

I buy frozen beans because I have found the fresh ones start to go off quickly. Plus they are convenient.

Sometimes beans are old looking and tasting. Other times fresh. Often have hard bits and strings.

Much more palatable than other brands. Sliced finer.
