MCM Eau De Parfum Spray 75ml

MCM Eau de Parfum smells SO GOOD, but is not at all what I expected. I think I envisioned something heavier, more sensual and I don't really know why because the notes are not really ones used in heavy perfumes. What MCM smells like in reality is a super fresh fruity floral with some shampoo vibes - minus apple which I always think of when I hear someone say shampoo. This scent doesn't fit the aesthetic of the bottle at all. I pictured something like Gucci Guilty based on the bottle. To be honest, the bottle is not my favorite and in fact turns me off of this perfume so despite really liking it, I don't know if I would actually buy a bottle. There are a ton of fruity floral scents out there with a fresh vibe so it's not unique at all. I just don't know that I have ever smelled a fragrance with a nice blend of just raspberry and apricot as the fruity notes. I really smell both and it smells fantastic! The middle notes and base notes are nice choices - the peony isn't too synthetic or overpowering and the violet leaf and jasmine are nice and subdued. Then, the base notes of vanilla, moss, sandalwood, and ambroxan are the perfect touch. This perfume is so pleasant and well-rounded. I really had to overspray in order to smell anything and even now, about 2 hours after applying, I can't really smell anything if I put my nose up to my skin. But, I do get a sense of a perfume cloud around me, but it's not a "heavy" cloud. It's a bit strange as most perfume doesn't 'sit' on me like this. I can't smell it on my skin and I can't smell it on my clothes, but I do smell it around me. Weird! I mostly wear perfume for my own enjoyment and I'm not sure if I like that I can't smell it on me even though I know that it's detectable. Overall, my feelings on this perfume are: it smells fantastic, but I despise the bottle, and don't enjoy that I can't smell it directly. Someone else said this is a fruitier and less aquatic version of Versace Bright Crystal. I'd say that is fairly accurate!

I’m in the Stone Pine Forest of Algarve, Portugal. The crisp air hits my face. I’m halfway to the base of the forest where I can see the White Moss and the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Coast. The spicy and woody smells of Sandalwood and Sheer Ambrox with a light hint of Vanilla excites my senses. It causes me to think back to where I’ve been so far. I also don’t want to forget that it has hints of Raspberry, apricot, white peony, vanilla and sandalwood as well. It does give off a woodsy smell but not to strong and overwhelming. A Haphazard Blend of Girly and Mature

Maybe it's the cutesy packaging and the call out in the description about "hyper-real raspberry," but I expected a much more modern and youthful fragrance. Instead, upon initial application, this EDP opened up with a wallop of heavy wood, musk and powdery notes; my nose immediately picked up on the very obvious sandalwood, which I guess is the go-to when it comes to mid-range fragrances going for a ~classy vibe. This very quickly settles down to a slightly more fresh and floral (rose) scent with some sweet almost fruity notes thrown in for good measure.Fragrances ought to be judged in their entirety and not just by which notes are most apparent during most of its wear time. Beautiful Scent

This perfume has a light floral scent. It is not too heavy. There are so many perfumes that smell the same and somewhat unpleasant, in my opinion. But this MCM scent is really nice, not overly sweet or woodsy. I don’t think it is really different or going to turn heads, but it will make you smell nice. The bottle is adorable and looks like a small bag. I think this is a perfume that will suit many people. It wears nicely and settles down after application. It fades through the day because it is not a really strong perfume to begin with, but I suppose that depends on how much you apply. I really enjoyed this perfume, but I know scent is so personal for each individual.

Berries!!

I didn't do much research on this but I figured this being their first perfume they would put a lot of work into making it memorable. I didn't expect this. First the bottle. It is shaped like their iconic bookbag and the material that was the bottle feels similar to their bags. It is so cute looking at it on my perfume tray!As soon as I sprayed it I smelled raspberries and I immediately liked that. As it dried I could smell vanilla and that was it. It is not overwhelming but noticeable. I was hoping that the sillage would have been better. It doesn't fill up a room nor does it last long, by midday I wished I would have walked with the bottle to refresh the smell. Overall it is nice for people that can't wear a long lingering smell but want to wear perfume. I've purchased a couple of bottles at this point. I have the purse spray and the larger size that were purchased at another store. I have been a faithful Chance Eau Tendre wearer for over 10 years. Until now, I couldn't find another fragrance I liked.This one by MCM smells really nice! It's not overpowering and it lasts a long time. I prefer the original (brown bottle) over the new ultra (tan/silver bottle). The ultra is very sweet where the original has more of a fruity/ floral, slightly sweet smell.Keep in mind that smell and body chemistry are different for everyone. As of now, this is definitely a keeper!

Lovely scent!

I love perfumes and especially love perfumes in the cutest bottles. MCM had both the scent and appearance I love. At first I was hesitant as MCM is said to be a unisex scent. I was blown away how much I love this scent! It has wonderful floral, woody fragrance. The scent is fresh and clean. It’s not over powering and is long lasting.The bottle might be the cutest too. I will be saving it long after the perfume is gone!This fragrance is perfect for everyday wear, year round. Because of the various undertones of floral, woody, and amber hints I think this scent would appeal to many different tastes. I highly suggest this scent for a perfect everyday perfume.

Must Buy - Attracting Scent!

Let’s talk about the scent. I’m always skeptical about trying new perfumes because I like sticking to the ones that i already love. I’m glad I tried this because the scent is A M A Z I N G !!!! It’s a really nice summer scent but I’d wear it year around, alternating with my other perfumes. A little goes a long way.. you only need about 2-3 pumps depending on your level of tolerability. The raspberry floral scent really stands out in the perfume, which I love!!! I got so many compliments and the last nearly all day long. Just remember any fragrance will smell different by the individual who wears it, but always that can always be a plus!P.S. The packaging is super cute! It reminds me of a mini LV backpack.. I love how it was a handle.

luxury in a summer's day

LOVE, LOVE this fragrance ! The sophisticated, luxury vibes it gives off make me want to wear it daily. It's the perfect scent for summer ! The presentation (packaging) once you first open it, is gorgeous and so VERY CLEVER ! Feels like I am purchasing an actual MCM purse. The projection is soft, but the longevity is very good ! I am thoroughly enjoying the sparkling raspberry and woody peach notes. The result is a very sophisticated city girl strolling through Central Park. I received compliments at work ,and now I have two co-workers that purchased the perfume cause they want to smell like me.Highly recommend ! 10/10
