I rarely buy chocolate biscuits as my favourite biscuit is a good, old fashioned plain digestive. However, I read a very favourable review on these biscuits in a well known newspapers magazine that came with its Saturday edition. I decided to buy them on my next visit to Waitrose and I am glad I did. The product is excellent. The biscuit has the right amount of snap and crunch and the chocolate covering is good. I will buy again and will try the dark chocolate version next time. The price represents very good value for money.

These are really good basic value chocolate biscuits, at 85p fir a packet. Theyre just like Mcvities and it is hard to tell the difference but theyre great for a dunk in a coffee. I love nothing more than elevenses with a coffee and a chocolate digestive and these really do fulfil that requirement. Have bought more since as theyre really good value. Would definitely recommend these.

These biscuits are quite chewy, crunchy, crumbly and morish. I like to shove them into the fridge especially in the summer as it makes the caramel more brittle and gives a new dimension to the biscuit.

I love chocolate digestives and I love caramel. These biscuits are one of my favourites! I put mine in the fridge which makes the caramel more chewy and the biscuit snaps in half perfectly. Most enjoyable with a nice cup of tea 😋
Love these! My daughter fell in love with them while studying abroad in Edinburgh and then shared them with her father and I on a 2 week trip in 2016 to Scotland. We are so excited that would could get them here in the US. Ordered a dozen - sharing with other family and friends who had never heard of them - everyone loves them!
McVities Chocolate & Caramel cookies are delicious. I used to buy them at Publix in Florida and I was disappointed the local supermarkets did not carry the item. So I ordered them on line. I love the wheat taste and the caramel is so good! Please don't discontinue this item. I love them!
Unfortunately I ordered these online in the summer. Note to self....never order chocolate cookies online in the summer if you don't want a melted mess and all your cookies are stuck together. :-( Anyway, I thought I would try the caramel ones for a change since I am addicted to the milk chocolate ones. The caramel flavor was a bit off to me. Tasted a little bitter. Perhaps because it sat in the UPS truck and was all melted from the 103 degree heat. Returned them to my local Walmart. Went back to the milk chocolate covered ones. They are still the best.
These are gorgeous! The caramel layer is the perfect addition. Be careful, one is never enough so make sure you hide them in the back of the cupboard!
Totally ruined by being in the delivery truck for too long. The chocolate and caramel had melted off the biscuits. They were a soggy mess.
Very different than any cookie in the USA....but I grew to love them after just 2!! Just the right amount of cookie, just the right amount or caramel and just the right amount of chocolate......I will buy these again!!! YUM
