This was not good for me. Although upon application the lip treatment felt good, after 2-3 days of use, my lips reacted really badly and were extremely dry, painful and red for a week. At first, I thought my lips were just drier than normal so applied more of the lip treatment, which only exacerbated symptoms. Never had this happen before with any other lip product.Obviously there is something in this I am sensitive to, which will not be the case for everyone. However, if you purchase this, just be aware and if you begin to experience these symptoms ensure you cease use (instead of applying more product like me lol) because it’s take a week using lip products/treatments I know I’m not allergic to for my lips not to hurt and be extremely dry.

When I first bought this my intention was it being a lip mask I wore to bed but that straight away changed. It’s a beautiful subtle baby pink that enhancers your natural lip colour while also adding the baby pink colour PLUS shine, dew and plumpness. Whenever I wear it people constantly ask what I’ve got on my lips. They’ve also never felt healthier! 5/5

This product has become a staple part of my nighttime routine. I have tried a number of overnight lip balms and treatments and this is one of the few that holds up through the night and leaves my lips feeling moisturised and looking great in the morning. It's good value for the price, as a pot will last ages. I also like the subtle sugary scent.
After suffering from dry lips and not able to find a balm that puts moisture back into my lips I purchased the Mecca Cosmetics Lip de Luscious as a night time treatment before bed. Worked brilliant first night and only continued to get better after consecutive evenings of applying . Woke with plump , smooth less wrinkled cracked lips. Low scent too which is a major plus for me.
I've been using the Laneige lip sleeping mask for several years now, but I wanted to try this as it's made in Australia, and I'd rather support Australian made/owned. It has a subtle shimmer which is pretty if you want to wear it during the day. The scent is so lovely, like a sweet, sugary scent. The product glides on very nicely and feels moisturising. I've been using this during nights only, and regular lip balm during the day. It has definitely kept my lips more moisturised than if I'd be using a regular lip balm during the nights too, but I feel like it's not quite as nourishing as the Laneige one. The Laneige one is also larger in size and a few dollars cheaper, so I'll probably go back to that once I finish this, but this is still a very nice product.
This moisturisers my lips when I put it on and for a long time after. It's quite thick so feels a bit like vaseline. If anyone knows what that is now, but does so much more! It's great on fingernails and cuticles and I'm sure my gel nails last longer when I use it on them. Love it!
I have been researching lip treatments for a LONG time after my HG was discontinued for some unknown reason here in Australia, (a French Pharmacy brand not sold by Mecca). Anyway, after wasting heaps of cash trying other brands, I gave this a go. Its's a nice enough lip treatment, reasonably thick, a tad glossy / slippy, in my opinion for a treatment....hence the 4 stars. I do like a 'drier' and thicker formula for an out and out lip treatment and would prefer no fragrance. This does have a sweet, 'bubble-gum' aroma to it which thankfully isn't too strong. For me it's adequate but doesn't have the 'WOW' factor. However my lips do feel soft after applying before bed and its one of the better lip treatments.

Simply the best. An essential during winter, I use this as my day-to-day lip balm and keep one with my makeup, one in my handbag and one on my bedside table. I've tried a LOT of lip balms in my time and this is infinitely more moisturising than most (just don't accidentally purchase the one with SPF - the packaging looks so similar. Obviously is serves a different purpose but it's not as moisturising).
