Amazing lipstick
I went into Mecca to purchase a MAC lipstick in a dark chocolate brown for an event. MAC lipsticks are my go to. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the shade I was after and one of the girls suggested Meccas lipsticks. I purchased the lipstick, without having too high hopes, particularly with the $20 price point. I was extremely surprised to find the quality of the lipstick was so high. The coverage was great. I bought the shine option, which was so hydrating and my lipstick didn’t crack all night. Will definitely be coming back to buy some more Mecca lipsticks.... Show more

Amazing staying power and doesn’t bleed!
I bought this lipstick on a whim, loving the colour (Crush It) and the price, and I’m so glad I did! I wore it for the first time out to dinner and just crossed my fingers I wouldn’t end up looking like the joker. It stayed put all night, and only wore a small amount in the middle of my bottom lip. I was so surprised! The colour is divine, the consistency very creamy, but it goes on matte. And it didn’t bleed into the fine lines around my lips. A total win and worth every cent!... Show more

Chic & Who Me for light/medium olive skin
Being a lipstick enthusiast, I had extremely high hopes from this new range from Mecca Max. The colours are absolutely gorgeous, and I settled on Chic and Who Me. Both are quite close in colour, with the finish being different. They're both pinky/taupey beige kind of colours, not too warm (which I prefer for my light/medium olive skin). The matte finish (Who Me) I found a little drying but I just top it with Chic or make sure to put balm on my lips prior, and it works out fine.I would say Who Me? in particular is a very close dupe to CT's Very Victoria, at only $20. Chic is it's very close counterpart, slightly warmer than Who Me, and with a sheen. I love pairing both with a pinky lip liner (like Mecca Max Fancy) or with the the pencil in Chic.... Show more

Comfortable to wear formula
I bought the shades Femme and Ultra in the shine formula. The lipsticks felt moisturising, they were comfortable to wear and they had a pleasant scent. Femme is a pretty mid-toned berry and Ultra is a darker grape-plum. The longevity for the lipsticks was not great, but they are not matte formula lipsticks.... Show more

Crushed Berry Shade with Satin Finish
I have a this in No Filter and got it as a pigment booster for my Pout Pop Shine lipstick in POV. Lovely rich shade with warm undertones (looks cool in the tube but is actually more warm when swatched). Not as dark or intimidating as it looks! Smells like chocolate too! Very moisturizing and applies evenly (does not cling to dry patches). Works great as a blush as well.... Show more

Perfect for medium dark skin tones!
This was a quick purchase while I was in store - I already have the shade, Super (which is very dark) and since I love the formula of the shine lipsticks, wanted to buy another. Sass Queen stood out to me and is a PERFECT reddish pink (more red) that would suit medium deep/South Asian skin tones. It doesnt have a dusty pink or burnt orange undertone like many other lipsticks similar to this. Its not too dark but not too light either. Highly recommend, and it would suit both day and evening wear!... Show more

Save your money
So disappointed with this one. I purchased 'Vibe Check' it has less staying power than a lip gloss, literally comes off within an hour or so, probably sooner if you dare eat or drink anything. Not sure where all the 5 star ratings have come from as the claim to have 'Serious staying power ' fall very very short. Probably one of the worst lipsticks I've ever owned for staying power which is such a shame as it was a great colour.... Show more

Top Notch Colour and Price!
This product and colour was recommended to me by Morgan in the Noosa Mecca store a week or so ago. I prefer natural/earthy colours but wanted a lipstick that had colour and depth without making me look severe. Dream Girl does the job beautifully, so much so that it's earnt a place in my 7kg of luggage for an overseas trip to France in September. I ALWAYS travel light so every gram counts!... Show more

True matte nude
I went through the ENTIRE mecca store in Northland with a fine toothed comb trying to find a true nude. Not a warm orange, not a cool, not a pink, but a true neutral nude. I didn't care if it was matte, glossy or satin. When I tell you I swatched every single nude in the store, I had covered my hand 5 times over with shades from $$$$ to $. The truest nude I found was this - Rumour Mill from the Mecca brand stand. It's opaque, fantastic colour payoff, no pink or orange tint to it, just a true matte nude that you can keep as is - or add a gloss or sheer lipstick on top if you want some shine or dimension. I'm so impressed and for $20 I'll definitely not cry once it runs out, It wont break the bank to buy a few. PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE!!... Show more

Wow
I come from a small town that sells terrible make up. The only matte lipstick that has never failed me is by MAC. I saw this lippy on somone praising the gods for sending it their way so naturally i bought one, specifically Hot Tip to compare with my MAC lady danger and i am sold!!! The texture is powderery but light and feels glorious with every pout and puckering of the lips. No lipsticks bleeds at all. All you need for that bottomless brunch.... Show more
