When choosing the correct size of the silicone nipple (S, m or L) you must take into account the size of the nipple so that the silicone nipple sits comfortably without compressing and the nipple fills the cavity wide. You should also take into account the baby’s mouth. In the case of premature babies, a smaller size may be necessary to ensure that the baby is able to grasp the silicone nipple so that the lips reach a smooth base against the breast.
