Great pumping bra

I also think an extra large would have been totally fine and not too loose. The fabric is very lightweight but also very comfortable and soft! I liked that feature a lot.The zipper in the front was a little hard to zip with the bottles in place— maybe I needed a larger size and it would be easier? That’s not necessarily a deal breaker for me with this product but something I noticed. Again, I think if I had an extra large if wouldn’t have been that way.All in all I am really happy with this medela pumping bra and do recommend it!!

When pumping with this bra, I had to the freedom to still do household tasks or even just sit for a few minutes without having to hold a pump in place! This bra did very well keeping the flanges in place and did not move while in use. My only complaints are that- 1) it was a little difficult to get it on the first few times. There a little clips to connect before zipping and I found it cumbersome to have to stretch the bra to get the clips halves together and then zip it up after as well was still a little difficult. With each use though, it became much easier to do. And 2) where the fabric crosses to hold the flange in place, there is a small stitch. It is small enough there is another smaller opening underneath when and on first use I thought THIS was the flange opening! It was big enough that I could get the flange through but very difficult to get it out when I realized my mistake! I understand that was 100% user error but it was the first opening I found and I think having a little large stitch to make this opening smaller would make the bra more user friendly. I know my complaints were small but I felt they were worth mentioning.Overall, I had a great experience pumping with this bra and would recommend it to friends!

I received this Medela hands free pumping bustier through a Stellar product testing panel. First, keep in mind this is a bustier. I like that I can use it strapless and easily throw on without taking off my shirt and nursing bra, but as someone who’s a larger cup size, it’s not a bra that’s going to offer any support and I wouldn’t wear it all day as my primary bra. Overall, the quality of the bustier is great! The fabric is lighter than some of my other pumping bustiers which I love for summer. There is also a clasp at the top of the zipper to keep it closed - a feature I wish some of my other pumping bustiers had! The flange slits are cut to accommodate a range of different flange brands, both hard plastic and silicone and the flanges fit securely in the bustier. ... MoreI received this Medela hands free pumping bustier through a Stellar product testing panel. The flange slits are cut to accommodate a range of different flange brands, both hard plastic and silicone and the flanges fit securely in the bustier. Despite the lighter weight fabric, the overlapping material in the flange area combined with elastic in the band keep me feeling secure, even when my pumping bottles are full. There are just two things that I wish were different about this bustier. First, it’s long. I think it’s cut to be more of a longline type bra vs. a regular bra and I have a short torso. This causes the zipper area to buckle weird as the rest of the bustier bunches up from the bottom and just feels like there’s way too much fabric. Obviously this is body type dependent and others may love the longer lines of this bustier. Second, the band isn’t adjustable. This bustier comes in multiple sizes. That’s great and if I’m full, the band fits snugly and works fine. However, if I’m not as full (pumping between nursing sessions, etc) the band is a little loose. Having Velcro or hooks or another way to make smaller adjustments to band sizes throughout the day would be a huge upgrade! Overall the positives outweigh the negatives and this bustier has made it into my routine pumping rotation. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a lighter pumping bustier and with a few minor tweaks, I’d probably be replacing all my other pumping bustiers with this style!

Most uncomfortable unflattering bra ever
29 August 2024

Please don't waste your money this bra is super uncomfortable and very unflattering. I bought an XL as boobs are very full however it has a bulge that makes me look like I have 3 breasts. The top clip digs in and the material scrapes across the skin. I was forever readjusting it!! It has since been binned. Really disappointed with this item. Save your money don't purchase this unless you want to look like you have 3 breasts and are willing to constantly adjust the clip.

I also loved the fabric - how soft it felt against my skin, how well it washed, and how secure it felt to ensure my pump my in place while in use. I also loved how easy it was to adjust the openings to accommodate my flanges once on with an easy to slide slit design. Furthermore, this slit design didn't expose my breast / nipples when the flanges were removed so I didn't feel worried if an unannounced visitor showed up on a whim while wearing the bra. Basically put, this pumping bra has changed my pumping life for the good. I find it a necessity for being the best pumping momma I can be.

New Design is Awkward. Miss the old version.
9 August 2023

Buyer Beware!! Medela changed the bustier/hands-free pumping bra (offered in black and nude/chai color). They tried to revamp the design where the holes to allow the nipple flanges to go through are tighter, but they are essentially just folds allowing a passage through - really awkward design. It takes longer to 'thread' the shields through these holes. The previous version of this bra was just holes - much more accessible and less time consuming. Also, there's now a lot more 'excess' fabric that sticks out in the middle (I'm assuming they did that because previous reviews said the older version fit too snug), but now this has loose material that doesn't provide stability in holding the pump parts.

Machine washable for easy cleaning. Your hands are free. The CONs: I went off the size chart and got my usual size, however it was a bit difficult to zip up, it might have been a little small. However, a smaller breasted person should be able to use this product with ease! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for this sample!

I exclusively pump and, if nursing is like having a full time job, EP is like involuntary overtime. It is tiring and hard work, but it is also what works for our family, so here I am.That being said, I need to make this extra task as easy and quick as possible. Yes, the zipper design keeps making noise during the entire session (I tried a few different pumps and flanges with it; all of them made the same noise, not just the vibration based pumps.). It is so annoying and discouraging to have yet another thing make noise while you pump. You can see the naked zipper on the picture I attached. I believe it would be easy for the manufacturer to fix this; maybe a zipper cover like those you find on infant pjs?Long story short: maybe it’s a good fit for someone that pumps every now and then. Look for a different option if you pump a few times a day.I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try and review.

Having a pumping bra where I don’t need to add another piece on is what I prefer because usually I’m in a rush to hurry and pump and get back to my work day.I do see how it could be helpful around the house so that I can be doing other stuff while I pump, but I still think a pumping bra is better and I wouldn’t continue using this product. However I do know pumping bras are more expensive than this garment, so if this is a better price point for you, then I recommend it because it’s better than nothing.

Works well for hands free pumping but not multita
30 June 2022

I was sent this pumping bustier as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, which was wonderful as I needed a second one to keep at work. The material of the bustier is light and thin and loose-fittting around the bust everywhere except the top and bottom elastic banding. The bustier has a clip at the top to help hold it close while you zip it together which is very helpful compared to other pumping bras I've used. Once zipped I did find that the flanges are closer together than I would prefer, making me have to contort my breasts at a weird angle to fit them properly though the holes. When I pump I have to massage and work out the milk to be successful, so I am sitting and listening to podcasts. I found with this bustier that the banding is too loose all-around ... MoreI was sent this pumping bustier as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, which was wonderful as I needed a second one to keep at work. The material of the bustier is light and thin and loose-fittting around the bust everywhere except the top and bottom elastic banding. I found with this bustier that the banding is too loose all-around and it begins to sag as more milk fills the bottles, as shown in my photos. I find myself pulling up the top band multiple times during my 10 minute pumping sessions. I cannot imagine how much more it would slide down if I were trying to walk around or do chores while pumping.Overall I like the clip to help zip the bustier and I like the thinner material but I wish it fit better in the banding and that the flange holes were better placed for my body. For reference I am generally a 32C/34B bra size and am using a size small bustier.
