I was lucky enough to receive this full size as a gift at a new store opening. I have been using for 2 months and have seen noticeable results in my skin. Even pigmentation and a glowy base. I haven’t been wearing foundation this month only a CC cream from eborian as I don’t need the coverage and have a better tone.The serum smells like chocolate Orange which is pleasant and is slightly on the oily side but if you don’t mind that it’s perfect. I still use it in the morning and does not effect how my makeup stays onI love this and will be rebuying when I finish it

Over the years I have tried to introduce vitamin C into my skincare. There are different variations of Vitamin C, formulas and everyone's skin responds differently. I did some research and came across Medik8, made in the UK combining science with clinical expertise. I used this a couple of times a week to allow my skin time to become accustomed to it and now use it daily. My skin loves the oil based formula, it doesn't clog my skin or feel heavy and no irritation. I use it in the morning as I usually use a retinol or acid active type in the evening. I allow it to absorb for 5-10 minutes before layering my SPF moisturiser on top.

So far I think this is one of my absolute favourite products. It's funny because I only bought it because I was told I should be using some vitamin c, but I have fallen in love with it. I wouldn't have thought adding an oil to my skin would help (I have combination skin) but it sinks in beautifully. I use it every morning after cleansing, and the orangey fragrance makes it even more lovely to use. I've used a similar one elsewhere, but it was less soft and fragrance free so I just didn't love it the way I love this one. I feel like it's helped my skin tone and smoothness, nice glow. Would like to try the Luxe version too, but can't afford it yet.

I bought this after looking into vitamin c . I’m already using products from medik8 and read the reviews so though I would give it a try. I have been really impressed. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering. It feels really nice on my face and you don’t need a lot of it . I have noticed a difference in my skin. It appears my dark spots on my face are getting lighter and it’s helping my mature skin feel hydrated and it looks brighter. So I’m impressed and happy I purchased it will definitely buy another bottle when it runs out. Thanks to medik8 for helping me finally have a good skin routine.
Medik8 C- Tetra is a very liquid serum, it’s runny with a silky texture similar to a very light facial oil. It has a very subtle orange blossom scent that dissipates once it has absorbed into the skin. This does takes some time to absorb into skin depending on skin type and it’s advised to let it absorb before applying moisturiser. This gives a lovely glow to skin it’s definitely a radiance serum. It’s also great for sensitive skin as it contains a very non-irritating form of vitamin C. Over time it helps brighten and it’s a great option for a starter vitamin C if you have used strong vitamin C serums before it’s probably going to seem too gentle.
All you hear about these days is how important Vitamin C and retinoids are for anti-ageing. After doing my research, I found that not all vit c serums are created equally. If you want to use vit c in your routine but you are worried about the cost - buy this and save money on a moisturiser or skip the toner. This serum is light and has a beautiful light citrus fragrance. It applies beautifully, sinks in after a minute or so without leaving any greasiness. I highly recommend this serum. It is expensive, so wait until it’s on offer. It’s a false economy to buy cheap vit c because it will not work as well as this. I have almost finished my first bottle and the difference it has made to my skin tone is already noticeable. Highly recommend.
This is the first Vitamin C serum I’ve used. Originally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the fact that it was an oil suspension (I have oily-combination skin and thought it would just get worse as it’s an oil product) but it quickly grew on me the more that I used it. It helps to reduce dark spots (as someone with a ‘medium’ skin tone, acne scars will often hyperpigment. This serum helped to reduce it!).Using a retinol at night and then this serum every morning and following it up with an SPF has transformed my skin from dull and hyperpigmented to bright and smooth! It’s an absolute staple in my morning routine.
I tried this in a trial size from Medik8 as I did not realise SNK sold the brand; I had a few weeks out of it and still have some left, but have had to stop using it as it made my skin dehydrated. I wasn't a massive fan of how it felt when applying. My facialist commented on my skin looking and feeling dehydrated at one appointment and I said the only new product was this, so she advised me to stop it and see how I was at my next appointment the following month. My facialist said the next time that my skin was better (she didn't mention it I asked) and she said Vitamin C can dry some skins out and I could reintroduce it slowly to see how I got on, but I have not bothered since. I'm sure a lot of people would be fine with Vitamin C but it is not a product I'll try again.

You should always apply Vit C to the skin as the first step in your regime after cleansing, but for me this can cause pilling when applying another serum or moisturiser on top. I newbie to Medik8, loving their cleansing oil, I decided to purchase this vitamin c serum without having sampled it and it did not disappoint. Slightly oily runny serum, glides on the skin and sinks in quickly. As I have been using vitamin c serum samples for awhile - and noticed improvement in tone and hydration - this serum is continuing this for me, not noticed any reduce lustre, or reduced hydration. I much prefer the texture and smell of this one (not too overpowering) and it does not sting. and also on the on the more afforadable end for £ per ml. Another win from Medik8! Can't wait to try some of their other products.
