This product is great because it's vegan friendly.Some B12 tablets contain animal-oriented ingredients. It's ironic if you are vegan and take animal-oriented B12 tablets. So I do recommend this product for vegans.Also, shipment is very quick and effective for international delivery.

This type of supplement was recommended to me by a young doctor who informed me a good percentage of folks don't absorb folate, and instead of taking the expensive genetic test to find out if I'm one of those people, just start taking methyl folate and see if I feel better. It's harmlessly passed through the urine like other B vitamins. And guess what! I feel better! MegaFood is my go to brand for the very few supplements I take, and this one just made my daily list.

My B12 HAS DROPPED ALOT OVER THE YEARS. AFTER 2 DAYS OF TAKING THESE CAPLETS I NOTICED ENERGY LEVELS UP AND BRAIN FOG GONE. MY BLOOD TEST IS NOT DUE FOR ANOTHER FEW WEEKS BUT I FEEL A HUGE DIFFERENCE. THERES NO NASTY SIDE EFFECTS OR TASTE LEFT IN MOUTH. First let me tell you that after receiving a package of broken bottles of vitamins from ANOTHER company I was MORE than impressed when I opened the MegaFood box. My two bottles were wrapped as if they were Waterford crystal! It was clear that a careful person wrapped and packed that box. I wish I had taken a picture to post. That fact alone has now made me a loyal MegaFood direct mail order customer. Forget those other sellers that throw a little wrapping in hoping to protect the glass bottle. If you read my post for Vitamin D then you know I have a healthy pessimism for supplements. My doctor recommended a B vitamin after testing my blood so I am now adding that to my blood health regime. I admit I am taking the MegaFood B12 based solely on the results I get from their Blood Builder Iron supplement. I have not yet purchased the Blood Builder directly from MegaFood so I can't write a review specifically for it, which I sorely regret. When I have run out of the stock of it I have from those 'other' companies I will then order directly from MegaFood. In the meantime, I am a biweekly donor of platelets at my local blood bank. I also am someone who eats very little animal protein. I have an extremely low hemoglobin level when my blood is tested when I have NOT been taking an iron supplement. Over the past 20 years I have struggled with keeping my hemoglobin levels high enough to be able to donate platelets. I took every type of iron supplement and not a single one gave me consistent results. I was being turned away from donating every other time. Frustrating! Then some angel said another donor swore by Blood Builder. I went right out and bought my first bottle at the nearby Target store. I have never wandered since then. I am confident now that I will ALWAYS test above 12.6 so they can draw my blood. I read that B12 also helps my blood health so I am adding that to my supplement routine. I will pay attention to see if it boosts my Blood Builder results. I would like to be able to eat less meat or take fewer Iron supplements and still be above the minimum level the blood bank requires for a donation.
Hubby and I have been eating Whole Food Plant Based for over 3 years now and one can't get B vitamins, or maybe enough of them, from the plant world.
