This camera case is really well made. Great quality and highly protective. I had requested personalization of my product but it shipped so quickly that the personalization didn’t happen. Not a big deal but I was kind of looking forward to the personalization I had selected.
Great small camera case in durable leather. Fast shipping and quality product. I took it on my trips and it lasted very well going from bag to purse to hands and back again for six weeks. I would buy it again to protect my camera!
Highly recommend. Well made & much-needed, since the lens cover (shutter) is very prone to damage, especially if you pack it. THat happened to me with my last Cyber-shot. Sony SHOULD include/have a simple plastic lens cover for this $1K camera, but since they don't, grab this, instead. One note, the knurled screw head for attaching to camera is recessed, and difficult to turn without fingernails, so I recommend taping a dime to the cover's back to screw/unscrew.
Don't buy. This case does not fit the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 VII. It is about 1/3 too tall for the camera which results in an awkward empty spot and does not protect the camera well. I will be returning this case. I purchased the Sony LCJ-RXK Jacket Case instead, it's a much better fit.
I've contacted MegaGear about the one thing that, for me, makes this case pretty much unusable. The screw on the bottom should have a larger knurled head for easier opening and access to the battery and SD card. It's bad enough that the case has to come off to change batteries and memory cards, but it's made worse by the fact that you need either a tool or a large coin.
The case I have has a bigger screw so I can easily use my fingers. I have used my camera in the case quite a bit over five years and the case is holding up great. Very well made case.
I got this case because it looked sturdy, not too bulky, and pretty cute. And it is, it fits all three of those criteria.But it's also really awkward and unwieldy to use. I should have realized but when you try to actually take a photograph you unsnap about 3/4 of the case, so it dangles awkwardly around your face.The case screws into the bottom of the camera, so it's secure, which also means that it doesn't make sense to take the camera in and out of the case when you use it. If you buy this case, it's attached to your camera and it's really awkward.
