Bought this thinking that it would be a protectant as well, but it only cleans. It cleaned the plastic okay, but it stripped off any protectant that was on the surface. In fact, it turned my black vinyl interior white after using. It may work better in some cars but I won't use it again.

Hands down, the best interior detailing spray on the market right now; in my opinion. I just started detailing, and have gone through three bottles of this stuff! It gets every bit of dirt and grime out of tough to reach spots; since, it breaks down the dirt, and leaves a nice refreshing smell!

I am a big Meguiar’s fan however this product does not do much for me. It doesn’t really clean. Maybe if you need to remove dust or little fresh spills, but if you are trying to get stuck on stains or residue this product does not remove that. I have had better luck cleaning interiors using Walmart brand Great Value Lemon Scented All Purpose Cleaner. I understand every company has a disappointing product or two so it does not change my mind about Meguiar’s as a whole; however, if you are looking for an interior detailer and cleaner maybe try a different one of their products instead of this one.

It does restore finishes to their original condition so if you have additional wear, damage or an extremely dirty interior you will need to reach for something else preferably before leaving a bad review. With that being said, the scent does only last about about a day but I prefer that over a lingering scent and know things are clean because of how they look and feel. This has ever damaged any surfaces in my cars and is wonderful on cleaning the steering wheel and controls. It has never left a residue on my cars finishes in my experience. As someone with over 40 years experience working on vehicles I have to say this is the worst product I've ever purchased. Very surprising since most products from Meguiars are good stuff. It doesn't remove dirt and , literally, 5 minutes after using it you wouldn't even know that an attempt to clean the interior surface(s) had been made. This product must be 99% water. Tossed it in the dumpster.
I was expecting good things from this spray, but honestly I began using it and felt like I had to really scrub to get out dirt and grime, it doesn't sud up at all and just smells nice, help to wipe off dust but the grime didn't come off properly, I had to use the multi-purpose heavy duty Meguiar's spray to actually clean it. It's a good product perhaps for light wiping and dust but not for heavy staining and grime. Disappointed.
Great cleaner with protection from sun. I keep things clean doing a weekly wipe down with it. I spray it directly to the surface and wipe with a microfiber towel. I like the natural look of my leather and really love that this doesn't add any shine to it. I get it clean with protection from the sun. I use it on all surfaces from leather, vinyl, to plastic. This is my go-to and it's work everything it cost.
Would not call this a cleaner at all cleans not better than water. Might be ok if interior is already clean but that's all. Leaves it feeling clean after but don't remove any dirt or anything. Not impressed at all with this product. Hard to tell difference in where you used it and did not. Pic is door panel after using three times cleaning.
I've used Armor All forever. Always had to run a rag of hot water over the oily residue left behind and still was left with a glossy, sticky, gross mess that looked ok at least. Bought this Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer cleaner %26 I am AMAZED at this product. Cleaned up the dirt %26 minor marks/scratches instantly %26 really made things look like when my truck was brand new. No residue whatsoever!!!! Looks great %26 I also don't notice any smell of any kind some mentioned. I applied it using a clean cotton cloth after vacuuming. Got all the trim, steering wheel, dash, seat %26 door trim looking like it was a brand new truck. The item arrived promptly. Item received was exactly what was shown on the website.I chose this product because of the claim that it did not leave a greasy residue. In my opinion, it is not something one would want on interior surfaces. Especially if you rub your clothes against them.
