I’m only giving it 4 stars because my daughter is 5 and I thought the vacuum was little bigger looking at the kids in the advertising. Overall, I like this little helper for kids. It’s appropriate for kids 3 years and under.

My daughter got this for last Christmas at age 1 year 8 months. She still enjoys playing with this. It is a little bit difficult to keep track of all the little pieces she's supposed to vacuum up, but such is the nature of toddler toys. The sounds of this being pushed around are way less annoying than the sounds of those popper toys. I would and have recommended this and the mop/broom set to friends.

My 3 y.o always loves to help me vacuum so he was so excited to get his very own. He loves that he can vacuum up the little wooden toys that come with it and even has helped vacuum up wooden blocks and Legos.
My grandson likes it, but after just a few days of playing with it, the yellow dial is broken and just spins without making any clicking sound. My grandson was not being rough with it, and it certainly should not have broken after just a few days of intermittent play.
The best you we received! My kids adore this and haven't lost all the pieces because they play with it that much! Works really well at picking the toys up.
One very disappointed 3 yr old on Christmas Day. He excitedly opened his present but no amount of help made the 'hoover' pick up the items easily. Even adults found difficulty hoovering bits up. Tried carpet and wooden floors, would sometimes pick up then spit them out. Would like a refund, but we had already thrown the box away, we trusted Melissa & Doug that the toy would be up to their usual standard.
We love this vacuum cleaner! It is really durable since it is made it of wood. It does require some light assembly, but nothing too intense. My only negative comment us that it does take some force to push it on carpet. My 3 year old had a hard time at first getting it to go fast enough to pick up the pieces. Other than that, we really love it!
