Wilson Men's Kaos Swift Tennis Shoe in Black/White/Red/Size 8.5. This is my shoe for the next several years. Fits just right; great on har-tru clay or hard courts; stable, steady, comfortable, and has a snazzy look. All around good shoe; really helps me plant my feet well and move around the tennis court.

Had the Kaos 3.0, great shoes, but lacking some medial outsole durability. This shoe is similar, but feels lighter weight and a bit less plush. Kaos 3 upper softer and a bit plusher and fit me like a soft sock. Same fit here, but upper is more minimalist, thin fabric. New sole has felt good on first play, still unknown how it will last. Little pebbles got stuck between ribs of the sole which was annoying. Midsole cushion on Kaos 3 felt more padded. A Kaos 3 with a more durable outsole with some medial outsole wrapping up the ball of the foot would be the perfect shoe for me. This feels a bit lighter weight, even more minimalist and looses some plushness (I’m not sure it is improved by this change). Jury is still out on medial outsole durability, but like the 3 it ... MoreHad the Kaos 3.0, great shoes, but lacking some medial outsole durability. I got this on Feb. 1st. It has been 18 days and I just found out my shoes had a hole because my opponent pointed it out. I found it on 18th day since I got the shoes. So I would assume it lasted about 2 weeks. See photos. Very unhappy with the purchase. I would not think this is worth originally about $130.
Coming from Nikes forever, these are the best Wilson shoes I have seen. Light and supportive. I was worried about not having a herringbone sole but they have good traction on clay. I’m happy so far.
I am a 5.0player who is also a teaching pro and these are perfect shoes to play your match in They're light they're nice and stable great traction and I don't know whatthe other guy here is talking about but love the way they feel even when the tread started to wear down after About 8 months I was still getting good traction... Great match play shoe ...
The men’s Kaos is a great shoe. It offers good comfort and styling but more importantly has good support as opposed to others that are too cushy that have left me aching after a long day.
Recently purchased this shoe and was pleasantly surprised given the mixed reviews. First and foremost, these shoes are extremely light, yet my foot felt very stable and locked in. The traction is good on both clay and hard courts. Good mix of responsiveness and cushion, much like the new Mizuno Wave Exceed 5's. Two minor complaints though. The laces tend to dig into the top of your foot, and they run a little narrow, but not as much as Yonex Fusion Rev. If you have narrow or average feet, these will work well. If you have wide feet, avoid.
Normally, I wear a pair of tennis shoes for about 1 year. I play on clay and hard courts. The tread on these shoes was gone in 2 months. The upper surface material also cracked on both shoes. The laces were too long. The upper surface extends over the laces and traps dirt.Very expensive for what you get.
After being a big fan of previous iterations of the Wilson Kaos lineup, I CANNOT recommend this version. They started falling apart after the first time I played in them. They seem to have less support than previous versions and the lacing system sucks. You have to re-tie your shoes 10 x a match. Switching brands!!
