I received these recently. The toe looked stressed on the outside. The material does seem thin, but I suppose it keeps the boot light. I will most likely keep them but they don't have that initial freshness I've grown acustomed to while shopping with nike online over the years. Ive worn the original SFB in Afghanistan and purchased almost ever silhouette of the boot up til now. These looked pre-worn almost. Other than the appearance out the box, I'm pretty sure this will be another perfect pair. of comfortable/functional recreation boots. Side note: I hope you all bring back the Nike SFB with the lunarlon sole. Those were my favorite.... Show more

Great boot!! They look great and they feel great. The toe box has lots of room and the sole grips noticeably well. Extremely lightweight and I like that it supports the ankle really well. It great how it seals out the elements while still being a breathable shoe for your feet. Love this!... Show more

A comfy casual sneaker boot.
First off these are not wear to the construction site, rugged boots. Despite being in the SFB line these are a military looking sneaker boot. My use case is walking around at work (retail) and taking the dog for a walk.As others have said they’re incredibly comfortable and light, a result of using lighter foam materials and thinner leather. I could see someone with wide feet fitting in these comfortably. I wear a size 10 in boots and they fit true for me, even with merino wool socks. My only gripe is the stiff cuff. I remedied that with some Huberd’s shoe grease to soften it up. Otherwise they’re ready to wear and go to work right out of the box. As others have said, outdoor the grip is great, I thought I had gum stuck to my shoe because of the sticky sound it ... MoreFirst off these are not wear to the construction site, rugged boots. I’d be wary of wet spots on tile, polished concrete, etc.Water resistant but not waterproof. Don’t go jumping in puddles if you don’t want wet feet. Again, these aren’t rugged, special forces boots but they’re also not cheap fall apart in a week boots. Your mileage may vary.I would love to see a coyote brown color way tho.... Show more

Almost 5 stars. Tongues Split at seams.
I want to give these a 5 star rating I really do. The only problem I have with them is the tongue on both boots has split open at the stitching. And there could be more grip on the bottom. Fix those issues and this is the perfect boot. I wear these for work in the private security field and have literally worn them from Miami to seattle to LA and put a lot of miles on them.... A Pleasant "Middle Ground" Boot
I bought my size assuming they'd fit True-to-size but they were HUGE so I ended up going half a size down since I usually wear thick socks to work. The shoe is extremely comfy though. The fact that I literally wore them to work the day after I got my updated size in the mail was crazy since it usually takes me an excruciating week to wear in new boots. This mid-size boot is a good halfway in between Nike SFB Carbon Boot and between the Nike SFB2 8". However, I personally would've preferred the Nike React Sole.Height wise it covers past your ankle, but the material isn't water proof so if you need waterproof, do not get this boot. Traction is okay but not the best. Buy a boot brush and that's all you need to keep the material clean. Overall it is a good boot for ... Cool looking boot, but....
I got these to have as a lighter weight summer work boot and maybe also to have as a light hiking boot. I really like the look of them. Also they fit true to size for me (12.5 is sort of a rare size but Nike 12.5's fit my foot perfectly). Unfortunately for someone like me who has an arched foot, these have seemingly no arch support at all. I will have to get some insoles to fix that issue, normally not a big deal, but these shoes insoles are glued in, so I will have to rip them out or put a new insole on top of the existing ones. I can also tell that these are not sturdy enough materials to take any real abuse. The leather upper feels like nubuck. The toe cap seems like it would detach with any sort of exposure to weather + work abuse.I'm keeping these, but I will ... Great shoe for extended wear in the field or service
Lightweight, nearly a true wide fit. Comfortable toe box and it feels good for a full day of stalking and hunting.Only minor complaint is that during break-in the back of the collar is pretty stiff and put some added pressure on my Achilles, not bad enough to wear any blisters or raw spots but just sore. After break-in it was good to go. Also tread is kinda deep so wet muddy conditions can cake the tread quickly.... Show more

Looks great and held up better than expected
Excellent hunting boot. Tall enough to keep the prickly shrubs from my ankles but not too tall where it's uncomfortable. Held up pretty well and decent enough traction to keep from slipping when side hilling. Be sure to buy a week or so before a hunt or hike to break them in because they're definitely on the stiff side out of the box. Nike, put the black ones with the brown midsoles on sale so I can buy that pair too!... Show more

Sneaker Boot
These boots are very aesthetic and look great, however be mindful that this item is designed more like a traditional shoe. These boots are very light, flexible, but do not provide the same support that one may find in a work boot. I personally wouldn’t recommend this item if your working on your feet 8 hour per day, but would definitely recommend it as a casual sneaker-boot.... Show more

Would recommend for the winter.
Bought these over the winter in North Carolina. They’ve held up pretty good. Taken them on light hikes and used them at work which doesn’t entail being outside that much. They’re water resistant but didn’t run them through deep puddles or any streams. They’re absolutely grippy outdoors but have absolutely no grip if you’re walking anywhere indoors after getting the outsole wet. They did a nice job on keeping my feet warm and dry, but now that the weather is getting warmer I don’t really use them. As far as sizing goes, they're not really true to size, if anything they run about a half size up. But these are perfect for anyone with wide feet. They’re very comfortable and almost no break in is needed. And they’re not actual boots, more like a sneaker’s take on a boot. ... MoreBought these over the winter in North Carolina. Oh, and other than the small creases that it came with out of the box, no complaints.... Show more
