First time Puma user. I am very impressed with the Mag Max Nitro. I’m a heavier runner and this shoe offered much support/stability/ and cushion w/ great response. To date I’ve run anywhere from 3-15 miles per run.great at every distance, seem to get better more miles logged. Would highly recommend and looking forward to trying other puma shoes.

My typical running shoe size is a women's 8.5 (25cm) and that's what I purchased in the MagMax. Based on that, this shoe runs true to size.I was hoping that this shoe would cover me for runs that require the use of a daily trainer w/ the ability to do some pick-ups. Sadly, this shoes does not meet that criteria. I found it to be an excellent shoe for super easy recovery days and it would also probably make for a great "walk around Disney" shoe, but it's definitely not anywhere in the realm of a daily trainer capable of smoothly picking up the pace for strides. I also found the upper to be very warm, which will be nice when winter kicks in, but feels a bit stifling at a balmy 67F. In the meantime, it receives 4 stars as a pure recovery shoe because it is well constructed with a good outsole for traction.

I have been a Hoka Bondi girl for YEARS….I mean years. I went to Marathon sports first and purchased a pair of MagMax NITRO in purple. Unbelievable! The comfort, cushion and stable beat the Bondis by far. One thing, I would say is that I bought a 1/2 size bigger. I am ALWAYS a solid 8 and bought a 8 1/2 in this sneaker. So, after buying them in purple, I bought them in the blue/neon color. Highly recommend.

Gobs & gobs of cushy midsole that feels responsive. Easily, my favorite feature of the shoes. They also look great. I have the green version. However, on the medial side of the left shoe feels a little cumbersome or binding. I had to adjust the shoes accordingly to avoid discomfort. (It quite possibly the shape of my foot that is the issue.)
Replaced my original Ghost Max with a pair of these. Whilst not 'fast' shoes I'm finding them comfortable at 10k pace for quicker sections of long runs. Felt great on initial run and have just improved as I've got them up past 40km. Fit true to size and more toe box room than my other Puma shoes.
I purchased the shoes to walk in. The upper feels supportive yet flexible. The midsole has all the cushion I was hoping for. The outsole with puma-grip is anticipated to provide many miles of wear. They look eye catching to boot. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Great shoes, I like the amount of cushion it provides. I took away a point because I normally order all my sneakers in a wide but this style does not come in a wide. Hopefully they will release a wide in the future. The mesh is soft enough that my toes don't feel restricted but a wide would have been perfect

It is comfortable, fun, protective, and more versatile than I thought it'd be as it can pick up the pace. The fit is TTS and stretchy tongue makes it easy to dial in a very comfortable fit across the top of my feet. The ride is bouncy and propulsive when you pick up the pace and smoothens out when you want to go easy. The PumaGrip outsole lives up to its reputation as the best in world of running shoes. It's a bit on the heavy side but feels and rides light due to the very even weight distribution. It's also very stable due to its wide platform - especially at the heel, which explains the weight. It isn't for everyone and no single shoe ever is, but if you like maximalist shoes, then this just may be THE ONE.
