To be honest, this isn’t the most comfy shoes around, but it’s not too far off. It does its job well in keeping my feet dry from splashes and light rain (haven’t had a storm here so far to test it out fully). I sized up so that I could wear some thick wool socks for the cold weather. Otherwise, it seems to be true to size. The toe box for me is quite roomy, so that’s pretty nice. In terms of width, it’s in the middle, not too narrow nor wide. I know that this isn’t very descriptive, but if you’ve ever tried out some narrow shoes, you’d know what I’m taking about (the ones where it feels like the inner middle has no sole support). 4.5 rounded to 5

This is the only the second time in my life that I've loved a shoe so much that I immediately bought a second pair as an eventual replacement for the first.I have have worn the shoe on multiday hiking, biking, and camping trips. This shoe is remarkably light compared to many other hiking shoes I've worn in the past. I have found the shoe to be extremely comfortable even at the end of an active day. The waterproofing is superb, its so nice to be able to trek through shallow puddles and not worry about soaked cold feet. The shoe is relatively breathable. Not as breathable as a running shoe naturally, but it is much better than a waterproof shoe from Merrell that I wore previously. Finally, I'm very happy to be able to purchase a product that is PFAS free. If you aren't familiar, polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a class of chemicals which cause cancer, damage to both male and female reproductive systems, and accumulate in the environment (they are also known by the moniker "forever chemicals"). None of that is something I want to support! Use of these chemicals is widespread in the outdoor industry, but the sooner we restrict their use to essential medical applications the better. The longer we continue to include these chemicals in products, the more damage we will do the health of humans and other animals over the course of hundreds of years. Thank you Keen for eliminating PFAS from your product designs.

The Versacore Hiker is an great shoe. Super comfortable right out of the box. Have been wearing them on trail hikes and for general walking and like them in both situations. Ample toebox that doesn’t squeeze the foot, yet the overall fit is sturdy while on rocky terrain. Haven't had them out in the rain so I can’t comment on the waterproofing however I can say that my socks were dry after walking thru wet grass. Overall, excellent.

I got these for my husband. These shoes are water proof which is a huge must for him. They are made extremely well and very high quality. The stitching is well done and I can see them holding up for quite a while. The grip is very nice and keeps a good solid hold on the floor regardless of what the floor type is.The shoe is true to size and the fit is comfortable. This is a fantastic all around every day pair of shoes. He is very happy with them.
Have a pair of keen Target that I love the grip of, but are slightly uncomfortable on the top of my feet. Was looking to find the feel of a tennis shoe, with the grip of a hiking shoe and water proof was a bonus, so when I found the Versacore I was extremely hopeful. While I am keeping them because I can’t figure out how to return them, they are too small. I measured according to their size chart and even ordered 1/2 size up. Much smaller in the toe box than the Targhee, and the grip on the bottom is not as good. But the waterproof feature is nice as I work outside a lot in the rain.
I wanted a solid but comfortable pair of shoes/hiking sneakers that could handle a trail walk with the dogs as well as neighborhood walks while keeping my feet dry. Good cushion and good support from these shoes and while I havent had a chance to test them in wet conditions, they look pretty solid in the waterproofing department. My wife and some friends have Keen shoes and highly recommended them, I plan to recommend these as well. Easy shipping and good customer service are helpful too.
I wear this shoe as an all-around shoe - yard work, lunches out, errands. It's very comfortable and I sometimes find myself wearing it all day. As an older guy with various foot pains, I appreciate the cushioned feel of the insole and midsole of the shoe. At first I didn't think there would be enough arch support, but once my feet settle into the shoe, the arch feels fine. I have not worn the Versacore on long walks because of an arthritic toe that requires me to use a less flexible sole, but I might give it a try anyway. The waterproofing seems to work well as I've worn it doing yard work in wet grass. (I've had another brand's "waterproof" shoes that let my feet get soaked.)I had ordered the Versacore Speed version of the shoe and it felt too loose, but this waterproof Versacore has more padding in the upper and it fits great. There is a little slippage in the heel, but using alternate lacing and thicker socks helps reduce that.
We recently bought a new home with lots of wooded areas for hiking paths. These shoes are perfect for going through everything. Whether it’s the little ravine that we have, the rocks we climb on or the dirt these shoes hold up pretty well and they elate extremely comfortable. The waterproofing keeps your feet dry if you get into some water but if it spills in you’re gonna get soaked for a little till it releases outward. Great shoes from Keen!
This is the first time I have tried a pair of shoes from this brand and they definitely did not disappoint. These shoes are very well constructed with extremely high quality materials and details. The shoe itself is perfect for almost any outdoor activity as they are waterproof and have a very rugged and stable sole. I was skeptical about how the comfort level was going to be when wearing these shoes because they are so durable, however much to my surprise they are very comfortable and pleasant to wear. I absolutely love wearing these shoes when taking long hikes thru the woods,as I know that my feet will stay dry and protected. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone that likes to do anything outdoor related, as this will be the perfect pair of shoes to add to ... MoreThis is the first time I have tried a pair of shoes from this brand and they definitely did not disappoint. These shoes are very well constructed with extremely high quality materials and details. I received this item so happy I did! Men's versacore waterproof shoes are absolutely amazing. These shoes are so very comfortable I wear them working a 12-hour shift and use them for outdoor activities. Most shoes hurt my feet but these are very light and the cushions are fantastic. The best is they are waterproof, I definitely love the color and Design the quality is great. I definitely recommend you will not be disappointed.
