These grinders look lovely, they are like pieces of jewellery for my kitchen. Unfortunately, they are a case of form over function; this is already clear from the fact that the instructions are so small print, you need a microscope to read them. The quality of the workmanship is rather disappointing. On the outside, the brass finish is uneven, so the top and bottom parts look like they do not quite match. The finish also is too sensitive, fingerprints show immediately and completely ruin the looks, so I would have to polish these grinders every single time I use them. On the inside, the containers are cheap plastic; for this price I expected ceramic or glass. Good and beautiful build. A bit chunky to hold in hands and a little bit too coarse yield. Otherwise beautiful addition to our kitchen accessories.

Ok so yeah these are really, really expensive. We took a chance on them after deciding to invest in ceramic burrs that would last and fit in out on the countertop of a recent minimalist kitchen remodel. The weight and action on the grinders is great - it just feels good and I know it sounds nuts but I enjoy using them very much.

The mills are relatively large and it also fits a lot of salt and pepper pure. The design and feel are great. They are simple and do their job well.The price of course a little high.
The set had been on my wish list for some time, but unfortunately the price was still a bit too high for me, especially since similar spreaders are already in the kitchen. Fortunately, the set was recently available at Connox as a great offer, so I didn't have to think much longer! The shipment was fast as usual. I'm thrilled with the spreaders. The upside-down design prevents crumbs from escaping after parking, the grinding degrees can be adjusted easily and steplessly. Decorated on a tray, they look great and don't have to be hidden in the cupboard.
The set from Menu is really beautiful, great workmanship and relatively large. The mills are easy to fill and are super practical. I especially love the feel. I would definitely buy it again.
Gave as a birthday gift for my parent's birthday. They love it and it matches their kitchen's esthetic. I have the the other version of this at home, but the brass will age beautifully.
I have now been using these mills for a year and I am still very satisfied.They are not only extraordinarily pretty, but also very pleasant to use. The mills run smoothly and best of all, there are no salt and pepper crumbs on the table because the opening is at the top.
I have the "normal" Bottle Grinder from Menu. I am disappointed by these, however, because the material begins to stick after 2 years. However, since I find the form and function ingenious, I have now ordered them. The first impression is very good. High quality processed and not rubberized. Too bad that there are no different types of wood (mill head) to choose from. Otherwise, I'd have taken beech again.
I have long considered, as it is really a lot of money, but the salt and pepper shakers are incredibly beautiful, do not make a mess and also the grind is super. However, you have to wipe them regularly, because with this material the fingerprints can be visible. Who that bothers very much rather not reach for the brass version.
