This is a specialist downlight, key to our range due to it's narrow 36° beam angle, designed to THROW low-glare lighting downwards, giving you more comfort but better light onto the surface as a result! Great for kitchen and island benches, entertainment rooms and anywhere a focussed beam angle is desired. The Mercator Elias II White features a Tri-Colour colour temperature changing dip switch located on the back of the downlight, allowing the choice between Warm White (3000K) or Cool White (4000K) or Daylight (5700K) light output all built into one downlight. The Elias II comes SAA approved with a separate dimmable LED driver with flex and plug. A proper aluminium (not plastic) fascia and rear heatsink ensure that this quality item is built to last and dissipates heat better than cheap plastic or polycarb downlights. Perfect for new or retro-fit installations with a standard 90mm hole cut-out. IC-4 rated - Can be safely covered and abutted to building insulation. Available here in Matt White.
