This one is my favorite under-the-radar spring/summer fragrance. I haven't heard anyone hype this one up, but I love this stuff! Citrus and rhubarb throughout with distinctive green herbal notes and vetiver. Definitely not the for the mainstream crowd. This one is quite unique in my opinion. Try if you like Terre d'Hermes or BR Vintage Green 78.

Masculine greatness

Smells amazing. Smells like a much easier version of the intense, but it has excellent performance for an EDT. 8/10 hours for sure. And smells very masculine. And 200ml for this price is an incredible value for a potential daily driver

I know colognes are supposed to be very brandoriented, but a car maker Well, I think this ones a hit because it smells really good. Kinda woodsy, in my opinion, with a light spice scent. But my wife, who doesnt care for it as much as I do thinks it smells like those pine airfresheners that some people put in their cars. As a tiebreaker, my teenage daughter really likes it. Regardless, Im going to keep on wearing it because I like it. Its a bit understated as long as you dont put too much on, but unfortunately it doesnt last very well. Maybe not the best choice for a whole day at work, but it certainly smells good for a couple of hours. For me, it was an online blind-buy and believe me, the day I tried it for the first time, I instantly thought - What the hell, this was a mistake and waste of money. First impressions were of those perfumes that can give a headache. I instantly made up my mind to give it away to anyone interested. The next day I used it again and then the day after and it started to feel maybe its not all that bad. I am no perfume connoisseur, so not going into composition, blend etc. What I can say is that is deep, subtle and stays close to the skin - woody, peppery etc. Projects for a bit, but not long. Those reviews almost turned me off from buying this product. However, after receiving the small, .23 oz. bottle, I thought it only right to set things straight for other, would-be buyers who might have the same concerns. First off, cheap fragrances typically have a lingering chemical/artificial odor about them that let's you know they are garbage. I did not detect anything like that at all with this fragrance. The essentials oils in it seem genuine and concentrated. Indeed, 'Grey Flannel' and 'Mercedes' both contain at least two of the same key ingredients, namely bergamot and cedar, although 'Mercedes' also contains citrus, such as mandarin orange. 'Grey Flannel' is a pretty inexpensive cologne, but its ingredients are elegant and I would not say that it has a 'cheap' smell. If anything, it almost smells a little stodgy and overly-formal. 'Mercedes', on the other hand, has many of those same conservative elements, but also smells lighter and more lively. At this point I should also emphasize what at least one other reviewer has pointed out, which is that this is a scent for your CAR, not for you. It certainly smells nice on your person, but it is pretty obvious to me that this fragrance was really intended to provide an aromatic ambience to an automobile interior. When I dabbed some on my neck, the fragrance seemed to diminish quickly. (This may be why some people think it's 'fake'.) However, when I put some in the essential oil diffuser in my C230, I was very pleased to discover that it created a very nice, very subtle, and very elegant atmosphere in my vehicle. All-in-all, I would say that the designers of this fragrance did a great job in translating the essence of the Mercedes vehicle brand into the blended notes of a sophisticated, and rather understated, classic fragrance.
