I ride a 40km daily return commute. With a short train ride included, This e-bike is ideal for this. It has enough range and is light enough to carry onto the train. The shimano 105 components are bullet proof, I did swop out the saddle though which I found to be hard.

Without a doubt the Merida eScultura has the look and feel of a serious road bike, and many people are surprised to know its an ebike,,, a real winner on quality & price with full Shimano groupset, and much lighter than expected, well done!

Absolutely love my Merida eScultura 400 , at 60yo, I’m feeling the climbs and my Merida eScultura 400 takes the sting out of the climbs and there is only the slightest drag between 25kmh when the assist cuts out, until you get to about 28kmh, after that it feels just like a standard bike, it’s got great ergonomics so I can ride for longer, and enjoy the ride. I would recommend this bike, and it has quality components and well built.
