Wanted a dyson but could not afford it and stumbled upon the mermade dryer and decided to try it and tbh I was kinda worried because I wasn’t sure if its good or not because there was no review about this product. Fast forward to a week, I just used it yesterday and I love it! It’s different from other hair dryers i ever had, my hair was smooth and shiny after using it. Not sure how that works but i never had smooth and shiny hair after using my old hair dryers. My hair type is natural wavy and i have thick hair. It didnt took long for it to dry my hair and I was impressed by it. Anyways definitely reccomend this product!

Loving my new mermaid dryer. Hair dried and styled in 3 minutes. People complement me daily. My hair was breaking of and in the last 2 weeks I've noticed the biggest difference ever. I've demonstrated it on other peoples hair and I dry my bosses hair twice a week who has chemo. Not alot of hair falls out as it works fast but gentle. No need to pull hair. ☺🥰💕💕 I'll be purchasing more before Christmas. Great gift idea. Pictures to come.

This has been recommended by my hair dresser, Quality is very much like a product from a hair salon. Love the pink colour. The hair dryer is very light and very easy to use. Minimal buttons making it eady to change settings quickly. Could not ask for such a superior quality for a good price

I absolutely love this hair dryer. I've been wanting to buy a new dryer for a few years and really wanted a Dyson but just couldn't afford one. When I decided to get the Mermade Waver I saw this on the MYER website and when I realised that it's an ionic dryer and a local company, I grabbed it in the same purchase. I bought both on sale at MYER. Such a good price even without the discount given what it is. I'm glad I hadn't bought anything else and waited to find this.
It’s light, obviously looks cute, has some good power and the buttons are a bit more luxe than your average hair dryer, so it just feels nice to use. It does the job well and the two different nozzle attachments are great. I bought this as I wanted an ionic hair dryer that was a bit fancier than my run of the mill $30 dryer, but that wasn’t super high end and expensive. I like using it with one of the nozzle attachments and a round brush, and drying my hair in sections to get a nice blow wave effect with added volume. Overall it’s lovely.
The air is strong and it only takes awhile to dry hair. It has cold wind so not too damaging to the hair. The size is not too big and not to heavy at all. I previously bought a professional hair dryer and find it too heavy. Bought this instead and it was perfect. Oh and did I mention, the Mrs and the miss of the house are very happy about this new hair dryer as well. The only thing I wished is that the handle can be folded so that I can include it in the drawer storage. But that’s a minor issue for me.
I would recommend it if you have issues with nerve pain or hand strength as it is fairly light to hold. I needed a light weight everyday hairdryer because I have a chronic illness and my standard hairdryer was too heavy. It doesn't get as hot as my other hairdryer, but I actually like that. Gives the hair a nice shine.The buttons make it feel like a more expensive product.
I needed a new hairdryer as the motor on my old one was sounding off. The Mermade is Easy to use, light, does a great job! The optional diffuser for curly hair was awesome - since so many smaller units don’t come with one.
Perfect for travelling or if you’re short on space. Comes with 2 attachments. Work perfectly on my short, fine hair, leaving it shiny and frizz-free. Only con would be that I often bump the speed control with my finger when I’m using it.
I’d been shopping around for a new hair dryer for some time when this one was released. I find it much easier to use dryers with short barrels but buying a Dyson was out of the question. I was skeptical about the quality of this one for the price but oh my god. Amazing! It weighs almost nothing and the only weight it does have is in the handle so it’s really comfortable to hold. It dries my hair so quickly without having to use a lot of heat and it leaves my hair straight, glossy and frizz-free. I use it on dry hair as well just to tame it in the mornings and it eliminates my need for a straightener. Highly recommend!
