I have naturally really curly hair, was searching for a tool to make heat styling a quicker, easier process. Saw a video on TikTok of a girl advertising a similar product and that's when I found the mermade hair blow dry styler. Instant impulse buy as it was on sale and omg best purchase ever. Your hair needs to be at least 75% dry before using the brush heads however it's still 10x quicker using this tool than blow drying and straightening my hair. I can do everything with the one tool while giving more dimension to my hair. I have really frizzy hair and this tool tames it down nicely. I find if my hair is too dry it does become frizzy so it's good having the hair damp not dry. This Blow Dry brush is amazing! I absolutely love that the big brush has such a good grip on the hair. While using it, the hairs are not falling out of the brush (iykwim). With the small brush, you can use to make your waivy and even curly if you know the right technique. I will never use my curling/flat iron or my ordinary blow dryer ever again. Also the color is beautifull. Love it, thank you Mermade.

Since using it , I found it dries/ styles quickly and doesnt seem harsh on my hair.Long swivel lead, means I dont have to be on top of a powerpoint to use it, particularly for travelling when power points can be limited and in inconvenient locations.I also considered product support, as many things break down easily these days. Reviews indicated buying direct got best product support if needed. - so far all good and hoping my brush will last.What I don't like:The controls!!! - the location and operation. I have to stop and look at the handle when I want to change heat setting and speed.Everything is in pink- I love pink, but its impossible to quickly see the speed and temp, and I have trouble getting things just right, and end up sliding the controls up and down randomly until I think I've got what I want my settings to be.As I am losing tons of hair daily, I want to be able to not overdo drying of my hair, so want to quickly reduce heat as soon as I feel my hair is mostly dried/styled.So this is a major annoyance to me and why I can't rate 5 star.If mermade redesign the controls in an easy to use manner with easily readable controls this product would be 5 stars in my opinion.

This blow dry brush is quite good and gave me a nice blow out as if I’d been in the salon and quick and easy to use, so that’s a positive. The downsides however for me personally I’ve got mid thick hair but fine in texture so it gets flat easily and oily at top but volumised in lengths and I wash my hair at night so maybe that’s why. It gives me a good blowout but it doesn’t last the next day I wake up with flat hair and blow out look is gone, even if I try tying it up or not sleeping on it, meaning I’d have to go in again with a heat tool again to get a “blow out” which is quite damaging. Tbh I’ve had better long lasting results with a regular blow dryer and round brush that lasts days. Honestly the mermaid interchangeable brush dryer has changed my life. It has made blowaving my very think wavy medium length hair a breeze. I no longer have to hold a brush and hairdryer at the same time. It’s so easy to use and I get a professional blowave result. My only regret is that I wish I had bought one sooner. The HW sales assistant was wonderful too. She let me try it out in the shop and gave me lots of styling tips.I’m extremely happy with my little mermaid.
I have frizzy and curly hair I need to straighten every time I wash it, it dries as you style so is saving me literally half an hour and my hair looks like I have had a blow wave from a hairdresser, I can now do my hair when I ever want, as I used to have to time washing my hair to fit into work or an appointment, as it is so quick to do! And so easy, as it’s only one tool.I also don’t need to use my dryer or my straighter anymore which is also keeping my hair healthier. I use it between washes to go over it and that takes 2 minutes and I don’t need my brush any more.. the extra attachments I highly recommend as the smaller brush is great on thinner hair or bangs, I need to buy my daughter her own now as she also loves it.
Buy it!! This is the best hair tool I’ve ever used aside from my GHD hair straightener which I love. For times where you’ve showered and hair is not dry for a straightener this is amazing! It dries whilst styling your hair very quickly and easily! Have only used it twice so am still figuring out some tricks but so simple to use! I could never coordinate using a hairdryer with brush which would leave my hair boofy whereas this is so simple leaving my hair beautiful and smooth with volume- I just love it! plus I Loveee the fun pink. One friend used it and loved it too!The brush is very light to hold so although it looks large it’s not tiring to hold either.
As a first time user of a blowdry brush, it took maybe 1-2 uses to get the hang of it, but I looooove my Mermade! It's great for both a quick dry or a more thorough styling dry, though I'd definitely recommend using heat protection, as I've noticed my ends are a little dry. My only criticisms would be that the first setting blows way stronger/louder than the second, despite being cooler (seems backwards to me), there's no cool shot, and the short bristles do spread out and get flat after only a few uses - but none of this would stop me from using it. My hair is above my shoulders and it works great for this length :)
The blowdry part is pretty ineffective - even on my fine hair it barely did anything - and it is SO LOUD. It also doesn’t have very good grip at the end of the brush so easy to touch the hot part when trying to style. My hair does look really nice after using it as a styler on dry hair rather than its full intended purpose and provides some nice shape, but I do wonder how people with thicker hair would fare with it. I probably wouldn’t purchase again from this range or recommend though since it doesn’t do half of what it’s supposed to.
I bought this as an early Christmas present to myself. I had earlier in the year had curtain bangs cut and was struggling to get them into a nice shape using a straightener or hairdryer.This brush made things soooooo much easier, rather than having to try and curl bags with a round brush and hairdryer with the hair going everywhere and not curling properly, it now takes 2 minutes to style my dry hair.
