I love these for trail walking. I walk 5 miles several times a week and they are very comfortable. I had to return a 7.5 for an 8 because the 7.5 was too tight in the toes. I still feel the 8 is a bit short as one of my toes is tender after walking. I have 3 pair of other Merrells - Winter Moc and the Chill Slide. They are 7 and 7.5 respectively and fit perfectly. The Winter Moc was purchased over 20 years ago and I still have them! That is why I went to find a Merrell winter walking shoe. Just a bit disappointed in the fit but otherwise I love them.

I bought these on sale since I needed a new shoe for walking and training my dogs. When they came I was surprised they came in the sock style rather than tongue and almost returned them. I wore them around the house trying to decide whether to keep or return and found they weren't as difficult to slip on as I thought they would be and are so comfortable. Now I love this shoe and want to get another pair, maybe in the waterproof style since grass tends to be wet in the mornings. My only criticism is that they do tend to pill and I'm also surprised that Merrell used this kind of fabric on a "hiking" shoe because every hitch hiker plant absolutely sticks to this material. :(

I bought these because I was going to Zion National Park to go hiking. We were there in March and the trails were wet, slippery, and very muddy. These shoes were amazing, while everyone else’s shoes were being sucked off their feet due to the mud, these stayed on. My feet did not get wet. I felt they were stable while walking on the trails. After our muddy hike, I threw them in the washer and they were as good as new. They are also extremely comfortable, I even wore them while putting on miles walking in Las Vegas. I’m looking forward to using them this summer on more adventures.

I bought these a couple months ago and have been very pleased. These offer good support while also allowing enough stretch to accommodate a large bunion on one foot. Wear them often for work, errands or easier hikes. They are comfortable but not so bulky as my Moab II pair. I love those also, but don’t work for my every day wear needs. The sole also works great on days when there it’s a little slippery outside, but not enough to wear boots to work.
I wear these shoes almost daily, walking to/from work. I bought my true size. They have good traction and are stylish. Since the tongue is integrated with the shoe, there isn't much wiggle room or room for adjustment. For me, the shoelaces are just decorative. I tie them without needing to tighten the shoe as they fit my foot fine. If you have a wider foot/ankle or high arches, the set opening of the shoe may be a problem.
I ordered the Merrell for the first time in years. I usually need a wide shoe but occasionally can get by with ordering a 1/2 size up in a regular width. The trouble is knowing whether I was going to be an 8.5 or a 9 in the Merrell shoe. This 9 Merrell still fits a bit too snug for me. I also got the same pair in black in the 9 Wide and it turns out the Wide shoe will become my everyday shoe and this one will be pulled out when I need a lighter color. Very comfortable once you find the right size for yourself.
Merrelll makes really good shoes. I have had several pairs before. What I really like about Merrell shoes, is the very roomy and usually high toe box. This time , I ordered a larger size to accommodate an orthotic and wool sock, but unfortunately it was too big all over. So I have returned and reordered another style. My previous Merrell were women’s size 10 , which were on the roomy side and a great fit for my normally 10.5 normal size.
I am IN love with last years 'model' colour called Paloma (ocean colours-blues and greys) with a plain sole. Not a fan of this years harsh colour contrast with the large splatter paint look on the sole. Returned in the hopes that next year they try a Paloma type of runner again. I do love that it has a wide sole at the heel. Im giving it a 5 star rating because I have this shoe from last year and it feels SO stable with my pronating ankle. And SO comfortable.
Not #1 on my priorities but these were very nice looking. Look very good with jeans. The lighter color is also nice for Summer hiking. Also (and why I am writing this review) VERY supportive. I felt it from the time I put them on. Roomy toe box but not snug. The structure of them is form fitting while being soft and comfortable.I wear an 8.5 in work shoes but always size up for walking or hiking shoes. For these I ordered a 10 which was perfect. Enough room for feet swelling.I will say I wish they came in a wide so I could wear them longer in the season. I would be afraid they would feel tight if I wore my wool hiking socks for 5-6 hour hike.
My last pair of Merrell's were a hiking shoe...it has been years since then because I turned to another brand for a few years. We were planning this trip and I wanted to be sure I had a comfortable shoe with a proper fit. What I liked about the Bravado 2 is I could get them in "wide" which was hard to find in the other brand I was using. Often times I felt my shoes were just too snug. I am in-between an 8.5 and 9, depending on the brand. I decided to order both the 8.5 and 9 in wide, planning to return the one that did not fit as well. I ended up keeping the 9 wide and they are soooo comfortable. During the 15 days in Egypt and Jordan there were times my shoes did not come off my feet for over 12 hours at a time. I ended up keeping the 9 wide and they are soooo comfortable. During the 15 days in Egypt and Jordan there were times my shoes did not come off my feet for over 12 hours at a time. I must admit, that in Egypt, I was noting a strong foot odor after removing my shoes. It was very embarrassing, especially in the Cairo airport where they require the removal of shoes at security. Surprisingly, once we got to Jordan the odor went away. Could it have been the higher temperatures in Egypt that caused my feet to perspire? I don't know, but the odor was only temporary. We walked trails, miles of sandy, rocky surfaces, climbed sand dunes and the shoes gave me comfortable support. When we returned I washed them in the washing machine to get all the dirt out before using them here in the US. I air dried them and they look like new again. 9W is my size and Merrell has won me back!
