I'm usually a 45 Euro or 11 US with many other brands and with Merrell vapor glove. However after trying these Intercepts in your shop I discovered I better go one size up. This was the correct decision and I have not been disappointed. What I wonder shoe! Extremely comfortable, versatile and hard wearing. I also like the Green colored pair I bought :)

Best trainers ever

These trainers are so comfortable to wear, are fantastically well made in mainly soft leather uppers and the best I've ever had. Been wearing regularly now for about three months and no sign of getting tired. Highly recommended. And as always good service from JL.

GEARSHOP intercepted my order and delivered!

I ordered two pairs...I've already had at least ten pairs before. Sadly there only appear to be brown ones available in my size...I'm hoping Merrell decides to continue making them in a range of colours for satisfied customers like me. Also, a word about GEARSHOP: They were able to 'intercept' my boxed order before it got to me and change out the shoes for a half size smaller! Big thankyou to Ruth.

Nice shoe. Will do more than I’m planning for it

Bought these as a stylie casual shoe than will last.The build quality it top notch. The fit is 1/2 a size up from my usual. These shoes are ready for narlier terrain than I plan to use them on. The sole has plenty of grip. I’ve had no issues with walking on wet wooden decking and a steep sloping bridge.The mid sole is comfortable, not a hard ride while walking or trotting across the street. I know these shoes will cope with a walk on trails , and equally fit it any a barbecue or casual dinner.Really happy with the purchase.

Poor durability

I bought a pair of Merrell Intercept in September 2020 and have used them for local walks on footpaths and a local park during lockdown. They are comfortable but I am extremely disappointed with the durability and quality of the shoe as they split on the right instep in April 2021 and have gradually got worse. I feel that I have spent good money on a very inferior product. It is unusual for the laces to last longer than the actual shoe. I have photographed the fault but cannot upload it on this platform from a Mac which is very frustrating. I have seen the generally good reviews for this shoe but my experience has been different. Avoid.

We want Merrells

My son ,who lives in Geneva, will only wear Merrell,s but has great difficulty in buying them. For the last three years I have been trawling the internet to buy Merrell,s for him in size 12. Noone expects shopping to be easy but buying Merrell,,s in leather size 12 from the internet and then forwarding them to Geneva. He first bought Merrell in Bath when at University and then when he experienced difficulty finding Merrell in size 12. Mum took up he challenge. He liked the leather ones head in colour brown. He would give Merrell,s top marks and would buy more pairs but in leather size 12.. Bring back more Merrell,s! All the students, male ,at University want them. Many big sizes needed especially by Volley ball players. Sincerely.
