The Merrell Intercept is a versatile shoe with a sculpted and breathable leather upper, mesh lining and tongue, and anatomical footbed. It moves with your foot to keep you comfortable whatever you're doing. Its Vibram Axis Sole, made with Sticky Rubber, provides traction and hold, whilst the Merrell air cushion in the heel absorbs shock and adds stability, great on wet surfaces or gravel. The bellows tongue keeps out dirt and debris, whilst the breathable lining treated with antimicrobial Aegis prevents bacteria from building up. The comfort of the Intercept comes from the Ortholite Anatomical Footbed, the moulded nylon arch shank as well as the In-Board Compression moulded EVA footframe which cushions every step. For general abrasion resistance, a toe cap prevents scratches and scrapes to either you, or your shoes.
