I have had these boots for over two years they have been amazing. I wore them 16 hours a day plus on emergency deployments and 12 hours a day for shifts. I am rough on boits and these have held upto everything I've thrown at them. I have a high arch so after the first year I did replace the insert, but that's to be expected. I have narrow foot and I could lace these to be comfortable and supportive. I've worn them hiking a few times too! Traction is fantastic, even in snow and ice. Believe me I will be buying another pair!

I have had several pairs of these boots and they are by far my favorite. Their light very comfortable and the souls last along time. I will say that I’ve had a pair that came apart, but I reached out to Customer Service sent them photos and they took care of it immediately! To me, that’s what really sells these boots is the Customer Service that comes along with the purchase. Thank you, Merrell!

Very nice looking boot. I have wore them a set of shifts now, and they are very comfortable. However, I am really disappointed in them being labelled as waterproof as that was a primary reason for me picking them. They are not at all. Only took a small splash to the toe area to get my foot soaked. I really needed these to be able to stand up to some weather conditions for work.

I am a Project Manager for a General Contractor. I bought these boots for my office job. They lasted 3 months before the mesh was all torn. Everything else about the boot looks brand new. I talked to customer service and was offered 20% discount on a new pair. Funny enough, that's the same deal they send me in emails daily. Instead of taking the offer of 20% off, I went and bought a pair of Danner Fullbore and have had them 3 months. The Danner is a FAR SUPERIOR boot.
Really nice boots. I have neuropathy primarily with both my feet. They tend to swell from time to time. I normally wear a size 12EE in a boot so I went with a 13 Wide. The fit is perfect. I added a thin insole for even more cushion and comfort. I liked these boots so much, I went back and purchased a second pair in case they discontinue this style and Olive color. I have several other Merrell hiking and tactical boots. I wouldn't consider purchasing any other brand.
My duty boot. Been getting Merrells for a few years now. Had another MOAB 3 for a couple years that’s been durable and gone to clouds rest no problem. It has lost its ability to be waterproof which sucks but still Sturdy with lots of tread. Trading those out for my old MOAB 2’s I used for work since we get a boot allowance. I do wish the tactical 3’s used the hook for the top shoe lace loop like in their normal pairs. Either way I’ll be back next year for the next boot allowance.

I actually can’t stand anything else on my feet. This is a good comfortable boot. However, the Moab 2 mid Tactical was a better design. In the Moab 2 tactical boot the front toe box material was not sewn in well creating some gaps between the toe guard and the box material. I was able to repair that with shoe goo but the rest of the boot was of superior design to the Moab 3 tactical. In particular the lacing system and sturdiness of the boot itself is better in the Moab 2 as compared to the Moab 3. Merrell should have Left the design of the Moab 2 alone and just fixed the problem with the toe box material.
Third pair of the MOAB mid Tactical boots. Using them on the ranch and hiking and they hold up fairly well. First pair that are waterproof and not water resistant and they do stay dryer. I wear them daily and tend to be pretty hard on boots so they are okay but I’ve had them wear out at the toes or the heel support wears out after a year or so but like I said, I wear them daily doing chores and working. Good ankle support and great traction so slipping is not an issue. Only issue is the size difference. I’ve owned three pair and they all fit a little different
I had been buying the Moab 2 Tactical for 7-10 years. Using it as my hiking boot. Hiked around the world in this boot and regular weekend explorations of regional parkland. I told everyone what an amazing product it was. Told everyone who asked to definitely buy the Moab 2 Tactical. Last month, I went to go and buy my latest new pair and saw this instead. WHY OH WHY did you change it? It doesn't lace as perfectly snugly as the 2. And three hikes in and the laces are already fraying. Bad design! Bad design! I'm going to have to go stock up on Moab 2's from resellers....
