Shoes are comfortable but the sole continues delaminate. Merrell invited me to file a warranty claim. They didn’t even respond. Don’t buy these worthless shoes. They do not live up to my previous merrell experience and, sadly, merrell doesn’t seem prepared to admit their fail on these.

These have a much different fit than the Merrell Speed Mid winter boots which are a great combo of winter boot and running shoe, Have used the winter version with max comfort as a liftie in NH for 8 weeks and they are the best boots ever! the Merrell Moab Speed lows have a much stiffer sole plate and don't fit the same as the winter boot . Still completely love the winter boot as it is the most comfortable/soft cushioned winter boot that I have ever owned. The summer shoe is very different.

I haven't hiked in these shoes yet, but they are comfortable and fit well. I will update this review after a few hikes.

Although not a perfect fit like my Moab had been and with damaged soles so I had to buy new soles on the Terrell sight. They work perfectly well and are very comfortable, great for work where I sometimes have to run even though they’re not slip resistant
As my daily shoe I?ve been wearing Moab 2 Vent?s for many, many years. I prefer a ?tennis shoe? type shoe so these light hiking types of shoes are my preference as they give far more support and durability. The Moab Speed is a fantatsic shoe. They feel much lighter and far less bulky than the Moab2 and the fit feels more like a running shoe. I just bought a second pair after my personal evaluation period.I use them as my daily shoe, my gym shoe, mountain biking shoe, walking and hiking shoe. I always replace the stock insoles with Superfeet insoles for an even better fit.It a standard (D) width shoe and I?ve always bought a 1/2 size up (11 to fit my 10.5 foot measurement). Please don?t stop making this shoe Merrell!
I bought these a few weeks ago and started wearing them now. They are very lightweight and feel cheap. They’re not as comfortable as other reviews have stated. Run slightly small.
Dicks had a very nice sale on the MOAB speed hiking shoes. Although not waterproof ( I have another MOAB pair that is water proof) the Dick's pair arrived in good condition, and are helping me walk my target of 50 miles per week.
I do like Merrells, but somehow the sometimes miss in the comfort department, like with the Moab2 due to their stiff mid and outsoles. However, these Moab Speed hiking shoes are so extremely comfortable, because their insoles and midsoles are nice and cushy. It almost feels like walking on air. I love them so much, I had to get a few before they change the model.
I used Merrel boots for years but I tried these Moab speed for a change. They last maybe a month, everything falls apart. they squeak like air is escaping every step, traction on bottom wears down sooo fast. The loop on back has ripped off both shoes, the black on top of shoe is torn. Also very loose and if you are prone to ankle sprains then DO NOT get these. I'd send photos but I just don't want too. Hope this helps someone
my husband also thought his heel was very loose in the shoe. But I realized this is designed more like a sneaker. Look up "heel lock lacing" to fix this. you use the second hole to make a loop. They fit perfectly using this shoe lacing technique
